Module one Feelings and impressions

一、教材分析(Teaching Materials)

本模块以感觉和印象为话题,通过听力材料和课文对话的学习,主要感知表感觉和知觉的系动词的用法,学会用系动词表达对事物的感觉。

二、学情分析 (Analysis Students)

学生在英语的学习中已经熟悉了系动词“be + adj./n.”的用法,大多数学生只是在实践中用,并没有上升到理论的高度。这就要求我们在教授系动词的用法时总结出be动词及其他表感知觉的系动词的用法,让学生重点把握。对于本单元的话题Feelings贴近生活实际,学生较感兴趣,为本节课的开展做好了情感上的铺垫.

三、教学目标(Teaching Aims)

知识目标: 初步掌握本单元的新词汇及表达法,能对食物的味道、人的印象进行评论。正确使用表感觉和知觉的系动词。

能力目标:

(1)、能听懂表感觉和知觉的系动词所表述的内容,并能和图片匹配。

(2)、能询问并表达对事物的感觉。

(3)、能够读懂对人外貌和性格的简单的描述。

(4)、能够对一个人进行简单的描述。

情感目标:通过对本模块话题的学习,培养学生热爱生活,关心他人的思想,增强团结互助的意识。

重点:(1)vocabulary: feeling, smell, feel, quiet,- - -

(2)、Key structures: sense verbs + adj.

难点:使用系表结构的句型表达对事物的感觉。

四 、教学法及手段

采用情景教学法、任务型教学策略及自主互助学习法,让学生在感知中学习,在合作中进步,在完成任务的过程中提升自己。

五、 教学过程:

预习课学案

一. 预习目标

1. 拼读单词、词汇。

2. 初步了解smell, taste, feel, sound, look---等表示感觉和知觉的系动词的用法

3. 了解文章大意,为进一步学习打好初步的基础。

二、预习导航:

1、学生自主预习学习单词。

2、从课文中找出含有smell, taste, feel, sound, look---等表示感觉和知觉的系动词的句型,初步了解这些词的用法。

Unit 1 It smells delicious(听说课)

一、教学内容:

本单元的对话主要以表感觉和知觉的系动词的用法为主,表达对食物或事物的感觉评

论。学生学会表达It/sth smells/tastes/feels/looks/sounds…,并在此基础上学会一些描述人长相和性格的表达方式,包括句式和一些形容词。本课教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。

二、教学目标:

知识目标:1、单词和词组

2、正确使用表感觉和知觉的系动词:smell,taste, feel,sound,look- - - ,

掌握句子的系表结构:link verb + adj.

能力目标:1.听,读懂含有系动词的句子和对话。

2.能够正确朗读系表结构的句子。

3.会运用含有系动词的句子来表达自己的感觉。

情感目标:培养学生热爱生活、关注生活和事物的情感

三、教学重难点

重点:学习表感觉和知觉的系动词,学会一些描述人长相和性格的表达方式。句式:

sb/sth feels/smells/sounds/looks/tastes…

难点: link verb + adj, What’s she like?与 What does she look like?的区别

四、 教学过程

(一) 听前说

1、 导入句型,操练句型

利用学生已有的学习知识,引领学生由生活走入教材,问学生:

What food do you like ?

Why do you like it? - - -

导出已学系动词be + adj.的用法,如It is delicious/sweet- - 等,然后告诉同学们这个句型也可以用感官动词来表达It tastes delicious /sweet,- - - 导出表感知觉的系动词的用法,并进行操练。

2、 导出新词,词句结合

教师出示一张party的图片,就上面丰盛的食物及个人特征展开提问: Do you like

bread/chocolate/- -? Why? What do you think of the fish/music- - 等等。导出本节课中有关感知觉的单词, smell、taste 、sound 、sour - - - . 然后通过齐读、自读、小组读的方式进行学习。再让学生利用这些新单词,通过“Practice in pairs”的形式进行问答,练习系动词的用法。

3、 小组活动,初步运用

以Party场景为主话题,小组成员可适当设置情境,表达对各种食物及其他东西的感受。反馈学生对句型的掌握情况。

(二) 、听中说

1、边听边说

对课本Activity1我设计了两次听来完成:Listen and number the pictures.

2、听后总说

(1)完成课本Activity2 Match the sentences with the pictures.通过听力任务的完成,学生再次巩固了系动词的用法.

(2)将听力素材设置成说的练习,让学生以问答的形式继续练习,进一步掌握单词和句型。

(三)、 听 读 说

Listen and read是对本单元知识点的综合运用。

1、听

听两次,Match the things/persons with the descriptions.

2、读

一读, 找出对话素材中含有表感知觉系动词的句子,并进行诵读,进一步突破本节课的重点,特别强调:

系动词be/look/taste/feel/sound/smell + adj.

二读,处理对话中的疑难点,小组合作解决,教师精讲点拨,突破难点。如:introduce 用法

三读, 听读,注意发音

3、说

整体把握对话,以小组形式展示学习效果。

小组合作,复述对话。

(四). 学以致用(Do a survey)

Work in groups. Discuss about the things. Say why

you like or don’t like them. “flowers ,ice cream, jeans, roast duck, silk shirts, your bed ”

以“My survey” 为题,根据小组活动的内容,选择2-3人写出他们对上述物品的感受。

Unit2 I feel nervous when I speak Chinese(读写课)

一、教学内容:以信为话题,集中展示了表感觉和知觉系动词的用法。

二、教学目标:

知识目标:能够正确使用单词和词组

能力目标:熟练运用系动词的用法,能简单描述一个人的长相和性格。

情感目标:培养学生团结互助、乐于和别人交往的情感

三、教学重难点

四 、 教学过程

(一)读前导

由上一节课导入教材,老师陈述:Lingling is going to the airport to meet her friend Sally, but they haven’t met. Can you guess what Sally is like?

同学们展开想象巩固所学句型的同时,开始引出本节课的词汇。并通过个体读、齐读、小组读的形式进行学习。然后根据Part1的图片,问学生:Do you think which girl is Sally? Is your answer right? 带着问题引领学生走入课文。

(二)读中读

A 泛读:让学生迅速阅读课文,把握文章脉络,完成泛读任务:

Activity3: Match the questions with the paragraphs.

通过对这个的完成,学生对文章的脉络便有了基本的把握。

B、精读:让学生仔细阅读课文,深层了解文章内容,根据段落顺序回答以下问题:

1、What is Sally like?

2 What clothes does she wear?

3 What does she like doing?

4 Who is she proud of?

5 How does she feel when she get bad marks at school ?

6 How does she feel when leaves her mum and dad?

7 How does she feel when she is with strangers ?

8 How does she feel when she speaks Chinese ?

9 How does she feel when she flies?

10 What is she excited about?

(三)、 读中学

一读突破重点,找出本单元的重点句型。教师总结。

二读突破难点,教师精讲点拨。

小组互助合作,介绍小组成员的特点。

Unit 3 Language in use

一、课型:语法复习运用课

二、教学目标:

知识和技能:相信我能记住主要的短语并会正确使用系动词

过程与方法:小组合作、自我矫正

情感态度价值观:培养学生团结合作精神

三 、教学过程

(一) 情境导入

Show some pictures for the students to talk about. Say they like or don’t like the things and give their reasons. 口头运用感官动词。

(二)句型展示

Look at Activity 3。Ask the Ss to talk about the picture, using sense verbs. Share their feelings in class. 加深学生对感官动词的理解与运用。

(三)总结归纳

Help the Ss to observe and summarize. Ss observe and summarize the usage of sense verbs. 发展学生善于发现、归纳的学习能力。

1. Write a description of someone, according to the guided words.

2. Some Ss read aloud their description for the others to guess who it is. 设置趣味性的真实任务,发展学生综合运用语言知识的能力。通过笔头练习,落实到语言的精确度上。

3. 帮助学生进行学习反思与评价。

(六)Homework

Write a description of someone else (your family, your teachers or friends…) for your school newspaper. You may write about:

* What does he/she look like?

* What is he/she like?

* What does he/she usually do?

Module 7 Feelings and impressions 复习学案

一、复习目标:

1. To review vocabularies and phrases of this module

2. To grasp the use of link words.

They tastes really sweet./She looks very pretty in her photo./ It sounds quiet.

3、重难点:

掌握表感觉和知觉的系动词的用法,描述人长相和性格的表达方式。

二、复习方法:

自主研讨 生生交流 小组研讨 师生点评。

三、自主复习

学生按照复习要求自主复习。将学过的知识点、重难点再梳理一遍,记下疑难问题。做到既能照顾到各点,又能把握到整个单元的这个面,有利于整个单元知识的整体掌握和巩固。在这个过程中,每个学生针对自己的具体情况具体对待,做到针对每个学生的差异性,避免以往教学的一刀切,给与学生充分的自由,也给与他们一个自我调整和缓解的机会。
