Unit 2 I can run really fast.

课型:读写课

课时:两课时

【学习目标】

1.知识目标

掌握单词monitor-- beautiful

短语: get on well with sb., work very hard, do well, at school, be ready to do sth., help others, choose sb. as ?, promise to do sth., want to be?,run really fast, be good at, get the best score, help sb. do sth., do cleaning, just like, make our classroom beautiful?

2.能力目标 掌握阅读技巧,读懂课文,并能表达自己或他人当班长的愿望及能力。

3.情感目标 通过阅读,培养学生乐观向上、积极进取、乐于助人的优秀品质。

【教学重难点】

重点短语

课前准备:

1. 课前朗读

让学生大声朗读单词,注意音准。

2. 预习展示

课前由三个小组派代表到黑板展示课文中归纳的短语

【教学过程】

一、 情景导入

T: Who are our monitors?

S: They’re?

T: Why are they the monitors?

S: Because they .…

T: The new term starts. What are your plans? Would you like to be the monitor?

S: .…

T: Which monitor would you like to be for your class, class monitor, PE monitor, cleaning monitor?

S:I’d like to be ?

T: And Why?

S:Because I ?

二、多层阅读(自主完成 合作释疑 教师适时点拨)

注意:采用默读的方式。阅读之前,教师应指导学生掌握阅读技巧。

读前激活:

T: Now it’s the start of the new term, Daming, Lingling and Tony want to be the monitors. Which monitors do they want to be? Can you guess? And why? Do you want to know about them?

(一) Skimming

The passage is mainly about .

(二) Scanning

Read the passage and match.

1. Lingling a. likes cleaning

2. Daming b. is good at sports

3. Tony c. is kind to everyone

(三)Careful reading

Read carefully and choose T or F.

三、理解意思

1.弄清汉意。学生先自主学习,找出不理解的句子作标标记。然后小组合作解决汉语意思不明白的地方。

2.提出疑问,其他小组补充、解决,教师点拨。

四、重、难点突破

(一)对重点内容和疑难问题先自主学习后合作探究。

1. I get on well with everyone?

get on well with sb. 意思是:

e.g. Do you get on well with your parents?

We all think Tom is easy to get on well with.

1) help sb. do sth. 意思是 ,另外这个句子还有下列表达方式: I often help my mother to do cleaning at home.

I often help my mother with cleaning at home.

2) 在英语中,常常在do 后面加上动词的-ing形式,表示“做某事”。

do some reading (二)自主完成后,小组合作,交流学习成果,共同释疑。

(三)让学生疯狂朗读以上知识点。对应组互相抽查。

五、归纳短语

1. 通过对课文的预习,让学生归纳本课的短语(课前由三个小组派代表到黑板展示)。然后进一步补充完善短语,小组合作,其他小组补充,教师精讲点拨。

2. 疯狂朗读,听写落实,组长交叉监督。对默写错的进行改正,直至巩固。 重点短语:

六、跟读文章 疯狂朗读

1、跟读录音机,模仿语音语调。

2、疯狂朗读课文。(让学生疯狂朗读课文,最后小组展示,听语音是否标准,

句子有无语病,看表情是否自然大方;英语表达是否流利。)

3、读烂以下重点句子。

1) I get on well with everyone, classmates and teachers.

2) I’m kind and I’m always ready to help others.

3) Choose me as your class monitor and I promise to help YOU!.

4) I often help my mother do cleaning at home and I like a clean and tidy house,

5) I’m sure everybody would like a clean classroom, just like home.

6) Choose me and we can make our classroom beautiful.
