Step I 呈现

1. 在看卡通漫画之前,先复习有关描述品质的形容词,特别讲解smart 一词以及形容词比

较级结构和There be 句型。

2. 如有必要,可提前教授What is …like? It’s like …的句型。向学生提问:What is our school

Step II 阅读

1. 播放Comic strip 部分录音前,让学生思考问题:What does Eddie think school is like?听完

在中心任务部分,学生要综合利用本单元提及的有关信息。通过调查问卷可以了解学生的个人喜好,为36页B2部分的协作做好准备。涉及具体细节的问题能帮助学生形成想法,使协作任务具有可行性和意义。此部分的练习鼓励学生创造性地使用具体事实写出富有想象力的文章。36页B1部分提供写了一篇作文范例,B2部分则要求学生创造性地使用英语表达自己的想象。

教学步骤

Step I 导入

教师提问有关学校生活的情况。此时不打开书本,可直接使用A部分表格中的问题,要求学生给出自己的回答。如:

What time does your school day start?

Do you think it is too early or too late?

What time does your school day finish?

Do you think it is too early or too late?

How long is your lunch time?

Do you do any after-school activities?

What after-school activities do you do?

Do you like to wear your school uniform?

Step II 呈现

1. 打开课本,和学生一起浏览35页A1部分中的表格,对第6点要简单说明一下。

2. 让学生完成表格,鼓励学生和周围学生讨论,相互比较结果,充分交流各自的看法。

3. 全班交流问卷调查。对6至13项问题进行必要的讨论。鼓励学生说出自己的观点,越多

越好。如果有必要,可根据本校实际情况修改问卷调查表,然后印发给学生填写。

Step III 呈现

1 36爷A2部分要求学生根据自己的喜好填表,为创造性写作做准备。让学生两人一组讨论

自己的选择。让他们想出更多的科目、运动和活动、写在黑板上。

2 让学生独立完成时间表。

Step IV 阅读

1. 教师向学生提问:are you satisfied with your current school life? What is your ideal school like?

鼓励学生说出自己的看法。

2. 听36页B1部分录音,回答问题:

(1)When does Daniel's school start?

(2) How much homework does he have?

3.学生阅读文章,回答更多问题:

(1)When does the school finish?

(2)How long is hia lunch time?

(3)How many students are there in each class?

(4)Do they have a swimming pool?

(5)What activity do they do every month?

4.帮助学生了解文章各部分是如何呈现的,以及每段描述的是哪类信息。上学及放学时间; 午餐时间、地点和食物;科目、校服和班级大小;环境和设施;兴趣小组和活动。可以让学生参阅35页的调查问卷,了解Daniel 的文章是按照问题的顺序来展开的,如:第一段回答了1至4个问题;第二段回答了第5个问题;第三段和第四段回答了6至8个问题;第五段回答了11至13个问题。

Step V 练习

1. 让学生计划自己的文章。学生也可以使用他们在A2部分选择的有关自己喜欢的科目、运

动及搞活动信息。鼓励学生加入关于自己的其他信息。对于能力一般的学生,允许他们仿照第36页B1部分Daniel的文章结构和语言进行写作练习。

2. 让学生分组讨论想象中的学校。然后选出两种有趣的想法,读给全班听。

3. 让学生参照调查问卷中问题的顺序和Daniel的文章开始写作。然后将自己的文章读给同

伴听,并相互评论。教师在教室里走动,纠正学生的错误,并建议如何改进用词和句型结构。

4. 对于能力一般的学生,让学生用自己的语言代替Daniel文章中的部分内容,完成描述自

己想象中的学校的写作任务。

5. 让学生在另一张纸上将自己的文章誊抄一遍,并加上插图,然后贴在特定的纸上展示。 Step VI 家庭作业

1.复习课本内容,掌握其中的词汇、词组。2.完成《补充习题》中的相关练习。

Step I 复习

1. 检查上一课时学生完成的习作,进行必要的点评,点评以优点为主,指出学生共同的不足

之处。

2. 参照课本37页A部分准备四个文具盒,让学生用 more ... than, less ...than , fewer ...than ,

the moet, the least, the fewest, the same as, the same ...as, diffent from 造句。教师帮助总结并将几个典型的句型呈现在黑板上。

3. 就本单元的重点单词、词组和句型进行提问,并进行必要的讲解。

Step II 检测

1. 听力。

2. 完成一份20分钟左右的随堂测试卷。

Step III 家庭作业

1. 复习本单元内容,完成所有相关习题。

2. 准备单元测试。
