八年级下Unit5 说课稿

各位老师,

上午好,今天我说课的内容是Go for it!新目标英语八年级下册Unit 5 Section A Period 1。此次说课,我将分七大部分进行。

一、 说教材

1、 说教材的内容,所处的地位与作用

本单元以谈论结果为主线,学习if条件状语从句。本课是本单元的第一课,是新知呈现课,重在让学生初步感受条件状语从句所发生的各种情境,初步掌握此从句的句型与时态上的微妙差异。同时本课时也是一般将来时态的延续,为正确运用这个时态提供场景,也为条件状语复合句的学习奠定基础,具有承前启后的作用。 2、说教学目标

根据新课标的教育精神,教学总目标是培养学生综合语言运用能力,为学生的全面、和谐发展奠定基础;应涵括语言知识、语言技能、学习策略、情感态度和文化意识等方面,具有多元性。所以,结合教材特点,我设定了以下几个教学目标:

(1)知识技能目标:能听懂简单的 if引导的条件状语从句,初步感受此从句所发生的各种情境,初步掌握此从句的句型与时态上的微妙差异,并模仿运用此句型进行简单的谈论结果的对话。

(2)过程方法目标:帮助学生学会听说模仿、合作学习、故事编述等学习方法。

(3)情感态度价值观:培养学生的规则意识,加强学生的纪律性。

3、说教学重点、难点

根据大纲的要求及本课内容安排的特点,本课重点应为:初步

感受条件状语从句所发生的各种情境,初步掌握此从句的句型与时态上的微妙差异,并模仿运用此句型进行简单的谈论结果的对话。

而根据学生身心发展规律和实际知识基础,我认为对学生而

言,本课的难点是发现并掌握其“主将从现”的规则;对教师而言,难点是选择与设计若干个适合操练条件状语从句的情境,以弥补本单元无非常明确的主题与情境的缺陷,帮助学生达成教学目标。

二、 说教学思想

本课的教学,将贯彻新课程标准理念,尽量运用现代教育技术和丰富的多媒体资源,结合视、听、说、写,培养学生综合语言运用能力。采用活动途径,通过灵活多样的教学方法,激发学生的学习兴趣,吸引学生主动参与、探究、思考,充分发挥其主动性和创造性。坚持以学生为主体,以学习为中心;让英语语言知识与语言技能的学习携手并进,让智商与情商同步发展,优化课堂教学,促进学生整体素质 1

的发展,实现英语的和谐教学。

三、 说学情分析

一方面,通过一年半的学习,八年级学生已掌握了一定的英语语言规则,对一般现在时、一般将来时、情态动词、祈使句等与本课内容相关的知识也已学习过,可以说在知识储备方面,他们已经具备了学习条件状语从句的语言基础。换言之,只要他们愿意,完成本课的学习目标不是难事。另一方面,八年级学生身处青春叛逆期,爱面子、怕露怯、喜竞争、事事追求新鲜、好玩。若要他们认真学习,激发他们的兴趣、创设安全轻松的学习氛围、适当添加点竞争性和不着痕迹地渗透规则意识将是重要、必要且有效的法宝。

四、 说教学方法与说学法指导

现代大多数语言学家认为,学生自主学习能力的发展是学科

教育中最重要、最根本、最具有开发价值的内在驱动力。而新课标也明确指出“教师要有意识地加强对学生学习策略的指导,让他们在学习和运用英语的过程中逐步学会如何学习。”所以为了激发学生的学习兴趣,调动学生学习的积极性和主动性,培养学生观察、记忆、思维、创新和合作能力。本节课我将采用歌曲表演、图片展示、flash动画激趣、情境对话、小组调查、故事接龙、录音听辨等教学方法。并引导学生运用观察、记忆、模仿、分析、总结等能力,在本课课堂活动中逐渐学会听说模仿、合作学习、故事编述等学习方法。

五、说教学准备 1、教师准备 制作本课教学所需的幻灯片;设计并打印、发放本课学案。 2、学生准备 上网搜索并学习歌曲If you are happy预习课本内容。

六、 说教学过程

根据课堂教学设计要体现教学思想,结合教材特征,有利于

突出教学重点、突破难点的原则,我把本课教学过程设计如下: Step 1 Warm up and Presentation

1. Play the song “If you are happy”, have the students sing along with it and dance to it at the same time.

(This step can be started before the class< 3 minutes is enough>. It is to attract the students’ attention, make them become interested in learning English. It is also to make a chance to present the key sentence pattern —— a kind of the Conditional Adverbial Clause.)

2.Using the pictures to help the students to present and understand the following sentences. “If you want to go to WC, you can go now. If you go to WC now, you must run there and go back quickly. If you want to go out during the class, you should tell me first. If you are all ready, we will begin our English class.”

(This step is to present another two kinds of the Conditional Adverbial Clause. It can also help the students learn to obey the rules and 2

to be good students.)

Step 2 Look and learn

1. Ask the students,“What will you do if you are happy? ”

Make the students answer it with the help of the pictures and notice

the sentence pattern.

2. Get the students to practice the conversations.

A: What will you do if you are happy?

B: If I am happy, I will laugh/ dance/ sing.

(These two steps are designed to practice more sentences of the Conditional Adverbial Clause with if + will, help the students understand it better and know more about it.)

Step 3 Survey

1. Show a chart and some useful phrases to the students and have the

students think out more activities they will do when they’re happy to complete the second column in the chart. Then get the students to make a survey by asking a boy and a girl “What will you do if you are happy?” And complete the rest columns.

2. Help the students to report in this way: “If I am happy, I will….

XX (a boy) will… if he is happy. And if XX (a girl) is happy, she will…”

(These two steps are to help the students practice using the Conditional Adverbial Clause with if + will in their communication.) Step 4 Storytelling relay

1. Show a group pictures and the beginning of a story, have the

students continue telling the story according to the pictures. Then ask some of the students to read out their stories and choose the best one to read it aloud together.

(This step is to teach the students how to make a story with the Conditional Adverbial Clause with if and get ready for the next task.)

2. Get the students to work in groups to have a competition to

continue the story by imagining. Then check how they did by asking “What will happen if Mary cries?”

(This step is to help the students practice more sentences with the Conditional Adverbial Clause. It is also to improve their group cooperative learning ability and imagination)

3. Try to end up with “If XX…, the teacher will hold a party for him/

her/them. If the teacher holds the party, he will invite you. What will happen if he invites you to the party?”

(This step is to lead in Task 1a & 1b on p34)

Step 5 Listen, match and talk

1. Have the students look through the sentences in 1a and match the

two parts. Then play the tape, get the students to listen and check their answers.

2. Check the answers by asking some students to read out their

sentences. Then play the tape again, help the students listen and repeat.

3. Get the students to practice the conversations in 1a in pairs. Then

get some pairs of the students to represent the conversations by looking at the pictures only.

(These three steps are to train the students’ listening ability and to help the students practice more sentences with the Conditional Adverbial Clause with if.)

4. Lead the students to notice and summarize the using of the “do” in

the conversations.

(This step is to help the students summarize the using of “do”.) Step 6 Practice

1. Show five groups of words to the students, get the students to

match them with “if + will” to make up sentences. Then check the answers by getting some of the students to read their own sentences aloud.

2. Show the correct answers and have the students read the sentences

aloud together.

(These two steps are to help the students write some sentences with the Conditional Adverbial Clause with if. And to help them notice the structure of this kind of the sentences.)

Step 7 Summary

1. Show the sentences they learned in this class, help the students review what they learned. Then encourage the students to study on the sentences and try to find out some rules about them.

(This step is to help the students remember what they learned in the class and encourage them to learn something they don’t know by themselves. It is also to improve the students’ interests of next English class.)

2. Evaluate how the students did in the class. And say goodbye to the students.

(Feed back in time and the encouragement from the teachers are good

for keeping the students’ study interests. So I designed this step)

七、说板书设计

由于本课教学是采用多媒体教学,所以我的板书设计特别

简单。即把A: What will you do if you are happy?

B: If I am happy, I will …

板书到黑板上。这样做除了可以强调本课重点句型,还可以让学生在完成Pair work 的任务是有模仿的对象,降低了学生学习的难度。
