Step 1 Warm up
Revise Key sentences What’s this/that? What color is it ? Where is /are …..? they have learned. Sports things ball ,soccer ball ,basketball ,baseball, ,tennis, ping-pong(table tennis) showed on the screen. Teaching the words .
Questions: What’s this/that? Where is/are ……? It’s /They are in / on /under…. Is it….? Yes/No, it is/isn’t. Are they …..? Yes/No, they are/aren’t.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Sports things ball ,soccer ball ,basketball ,baseball, ,tennis, ping-pong(table tennis) showed on the screen. Teaching the new words .
Questions: Where is/are ……? It’s /They are in / on /under….
Is it….? Yes/No, it is/isn’t. Are they …..? Yes/No, they are/aren’t.
2. Tell the differences between bat and racket
3. Making a conclusion about what balls we have learned on the screen.
4. Tell the differences between “play” and “ play the”
5. Math the words and the pictures .
Step 3 Listening
Listen and circle the words you hear.
Play the tape for two times .For the first time the Ss listen and finish the task , and for the second time they check their answers. Check the answers as a whole.
Step 4 Key words teaching
Teaching the word do ,does and have.
Ask the Ss what does the word “have” mean? How many meanings does it have.
Get them to remind them meanings they studied in the primary school.
Have them discuss and answer freely
Then make a conclusion
Step 5 Pairwork
Have them work in pairs and make dialogues using the key structure “Do you have ….? Yes,/No, I do/don’t.” Offering help as needed. Check some pairs.
Then ask the some students “Does he/she/name have ……? ” Help them to answer.
Have them pay attention to the key words do and does.
Step 6 Listening 2a&2b
Teaching the words do and does. Show the differences on the screen. Teaching the key sentences Does he/she have….? Yes,/No, he/she does/doesn’t.
Play the tape. Finish activity 2a&2b.
Step 7 Practice
Get them finish the task showed on the screen.
