Step 1 Presentation

1. Ss understand the aims of the lesson.

2. Present two sentences and lead in the new lesson.

1) A month ago, Millie and Amy went to Sunshine Park.

2) Last Sunday, they went to the park again.

We use the simple past tense to talk about things in the past.

3. We form the simple past tense by adding ‘-ed’ to regular verbs

提示:一般过去时常与表示过去的时间状语连用,如:yesterday, last month, last night, a month ago, yesterday afternoon, last week, ten years ago.

Step 2 Drills

1. Ss complete the following exercise. Write the simple past tense of the verbs below. want— talk —

like — worry — try — stop —

Step 3 Presentation

1. 谓语动词为实意动词的一般过去时的句子结构。

1)肯定句: 主语+谓语动词过去式…..

Eg: He heard a whisper. They went to the park again last Sunday.

2)否定句:主语+didn’t+谓语动词原形…..

Eg: I didn’t go to the park yesterday morning.

He didn’t hear a whisper. They didn’t find anything in the bushes.

3)一般疑问句: Did +主语+谓语动词原形…..? Yes,代词+did./No,代词+didn’t. Eg: Did you go to the park yesterday morning? Yes, I did.

Did he hear a whisper? No, he didn’t.

Step 4 Practise

1. Finish PartA on page 62.

3. Do the exercises. Eg: She waits for me. She waited for me.

4. Complete the exercises.

1). Lucy did her homework at home.(改否定句)

Lucy ______ ___ her homework at home.

2). He found some meat in the fridge. (变一般疑问句)

____ he ____ ____ meat in the fridge? 对划线部分提问)

____ ____ ___ she ____ there?

4). There was some orange in the cup. (变一般疑问句)

_____ there ___ orange in the cup?

5. 巧计过去时态

动词一般过去时,表示过去发生的事;

be用was或用were, have, has变had;

谓语动词过去式,过去时间做标志;

一般动词加-ed,若是特殊得硬记。

否定句很简单,主语之后didn’t添;

疑问句也不难,did放在主语前;

如果谓语之前有did,谓语动词需还原;

动词若是was, were, 否定就把not添。

Teaching self-examination:

一节课下来,大部分学生都能积极投入到课堂教学中来,并积极举手发言。课堂气氛比较活跃,调动了大部分学生听课的积极性,因此合作教学对提高学生实际的语言交流能力。但很明显的,语言表达能力强的学生参与的机会相对要多,代表小组汇报的机会也多,而另有一些学生却习惯于当听众,被动地接受别人的观点。很少发表自己的个人意见,也就是说在小组合作学习中学生的参与度不均衡,因此作为教师的我既要注意到每个合作小组成员的合理编排,又要注意到自己教学内容的设计、话题的趣味性以及如何把学生的积极性真正地调动起来。
