1. Let’s send him a birthday card.

1) 本句是以Let’s开头的祈使句,表示征求意见或提供建议,意为“让我们”,

后接动词原形,构成Let sb do sth.

Let’s go home.

2) send sb sth =send sth to sb 送给某人某物

Let’s send her a present on her birthday.

=Let’s send a present to her on her birthday.

2. make sth for sb = make sb sth 为某人做某物

My mother makes a skirt for me.

=My mother makes me a skirt.

3. listen to 听

Listen to me carefully.

1) listen 与hear

hear 是听见,不一定都是有意的,有时是偶然听见,指听的结果,通常不用进行时态。

Listen 是仔细倾听,不一定听见,指听的过程,可以用进行时态,一般与介词to连用。

I was listening,but heard nothing.

4. He often watches football.

1) 此句是一个主语为第三人称单数的肯定陈述句,其结构是“(第三人称单数)

主语+动词单数形式+宾语”,其中谓语watches是动词第三人称单数形式。 He never plays computer games.

2)动词第三人称单数变化规则:

一般情况下,直接在动词后加s,如eat-eats, like-likes

以s,x,ch,sh结尾的动词词尾加es,如watch-watches,finish-finishes

以辅音字母+o结尾的动词一般加es,如go-goes,do-does

以辅音字母+y结尾的东西,变y为i再加es,如worry-worries,story-stories

5. Daming’s uncle likes reading and he reads lots of books and magazines.

1)like doing sth 意为“经常喜欢做某事”,与like to do 区别不大。

Li Lei likes playing football very much.

2)lots of相当于a lot of,意为“许多,大量”,其后可接不可数名词,相当于much,也可以接可数名词复数,相当于many.

There is a lot of/lots of/much water here.

I have a lot of/lots of/many books.

6. Lingling’s father watches the football on television on Saturday and Sunday.

1)watch the football on television 看足球赛。On意为“以…方式,通过….”。 He listens to music on the radio.

2) on Sunday中的on表示“在….的时候”。指具体某一天或某一天的上午,下午或晚上等。

On Monday, we get up at six o’clock.

7. Do you often watch football?

1)本句是一个由do引导的一般疑问句,其中do是助动词,主要用于帮助构成疑问句,用于一般现在时的第一,第二人称单、复数,若主语是第三人称单数形式,则要用does,回答此类问题时,若是肯定回答,用do或does,若是否定回答,则用don’t或doesn’t.

Do you like meat for dinner?

Yes, I do./No,I don’t.

Does Han Mei like chicken?

Yes, she does./No,she doesn’t.

8. How often do you use a computer?

1)how often多久,多长时间,用来提问every day,often,usually,sometimes,never等频率副词。

How often does the train run?

Every half an hour.

9. Do you make travel plans on the Internet?

1)make plans 制定计划,常与动词不定式连用。

I make a plan to visit my friend.

2)plan to do sth 计划做某事

He plans to play games tonight.

2) plan on + n/v-ing形式

He plans on playing computer games tonight.

10. kind

1)种类,如:a kind of 一种….

People of many kinds 多种类型的人

2)善良的,好心的

A kind heart 仁慈的心

3)be kind to 对…慈爱

Her step-mother is kind to her. 她继母对她很好。

4)kind of+adj 有点,有些

Kind of big 有点大

11. How do I write my homework on the computer?

1)how如何,怎样,作疑问副词引起问句

How does he do it?

2)如何,怎样,作连接副词引导从句

I often ask him how he studies English.

3)如何,怎样,作连接副词和不定式连用。

I would like to know how to do it well.

4)多久,多少,和many,much,long等连用

How many books so you have?

5)何等,多么,多用于感叹句

How beautiful it is.

12.switch on 打开,连通

1)switch the TV on = switch on the TV =turn on the TV

Switch the radio off = switch off the radio = turn off the radio

13. First,open a new document,

1)first 首先,第一,是one的序数词。如the first lesson第一课

2)序数词变化规则:

多数基数词后面加-th;一,二,三变化特殊记。

八去t 九去e ,ve要用f替。整十变化需注意。

去掉-y后加-ie,然后再加-th.假若遇到几十几,只变个位就可以。

序数词表顺序,一般需用定冠词。

14.序数词的用法:

1)序数词前一般要加定冠词the表顺序。

The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.

2)序数词常用作名词的定语,但名词前已有物主代词等限定词时,则不再用the. My first teacher was my mother.

3)表示英语中的分数时,分子用基数词,写在前面,分母用序数词写在后面,当分子超过一时,分母的序数词要加s.

1/3 one third 2/5 two fifths

4)序数词前有时也可用不定冠词a/an,这时不再表示在具体范围内的“第几”,而表示没有范围,在原有的基础上的“又一个,另一个”
