Good morning everyone. I’m the number...It’s my great honor to interpret my teaching design here.The content of my lesson is Junior English, Grade 8, Book 2A，Unit 4 How do you get to school? Now, I will explain the lesson from the following aspects.
Part 1.Analysis of the teaching material
Well ,firstly, let’s talk about the analysis of the teaching material .
Under the guidance of new standard of English curriiculum, the middle school English teaching has changed a lot. The textbooks-Go for it combine the language with culture. The teaching materials centered on the development of the students. Besides, the textbook has real teaching contents and varities of teaching activities.
Uint 10 will allow students to learn some expressions of the traffic tools. They are closely related to the daily life . Students are familiar with, and they are willing to say. So in the process of teaching, I will make courseware with pictures from their daily life.
Part 2.Analysis of the students' situation
After learning English for years, the studets have some basic English background knowledge, so the teacher should pay more attention to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using language. It is well known to us that the students are very active and like playing games very much, so during my lesson, I’ll design some interesting games to activate them participate and learn something.

Part 3.Teaching methods
Thirdly, I’ll talk about teaching methods. In this lesson , I will mainly use the following teaching methods:
1. Communicative teaching method
2. Audio-visual teaching method
3.“Task-based” teaching method
The Multi-media computer, Tape recorder, and the PPT will be needed in this lesson.
Part 4.Teaching aims
Fourthly, let’s move on to another part , teaching aims . long does it take?
2. Ability aims are to improve the students’ abilities of listening ,speaking , reading and writing.
3.Emotional aims are to help students to form a good habit of learning English.
Part 5.Teaching procedures
Now I’ll talk the most important part teaching procedure.
I will finish the lesson with 5 steps.They are Warming up, leading in, key points and difficult points, practice and homework.
Step 1 Warming up
1. Self-introduction and greetings.

Ask a few students how they get to school in the morning and how long it takes?
With the help of PPT, I set a situation of stimulating the Ss’ interest of the lesson. The purpose is to present the new words and sentences in the situation and help them understand the language easily. I'll present each new word by the guessing game. It can help them to remember the spelling of the words.

The Communicative language teaching method are used here. The practice is to develop the Ss’ abilities of communication and cooperation. Making a new dialogue is to check if the Ss can use correctly and skillfully.
Ask students to look at the pictures in activity 1a. Then ask students to read the sample conversations in activity 1c.
Ask students to work in pairs and make their own conversations. Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class.
Step 5 Homework.
