Are you reading?
—Is Lili doing her homework? —No, she isn’t. She is writing a letter.
Grandma can’t read fast
Ann is a little girl. She’s nine.
She’s in Grade Three. Her father
and mother love her very much.
And she loves them, too.
It’s five. Ann is sitting at a desk. She is writing.
Ann is writing a letter to Grandma.
Now it’s six. Ann is still writing.
Her mother comes and says, “Oh, Ann. Are you still writing? You are too slow. Go and have supper now.”
Ann looks up at her mother and says, “You see, Mum. Grandma is old. She can’t read fast. So I have to write slowly.”
Have a rest!
