教学过程:

一、教学导入:

教师指着墙上的时钟问学生What is that? Right, that is clock. Clocks tell us time. 教师指着卡片上钟表的时间: 7 o’clock,8, o’clock, 9 o’clock, 今天学习时间,通过本课的学习我们就会用英语表达时间了。

教学建议:老师可以用卡片画出的表示不同时间的钟表。

二、教学过程:

1. 学习新单词(注意新词的正确发音,新词教学一定要注意提醒学生看老师发音的口型)

教学建议:学完新单词后听录音并做听力练习以巩固

三、文化背景知识扩展

1. 讲解dinner 和supper 的区别:

dinner通常有两种解释,正餐或宴会(比较正式的,会喝酒的那种),可以是中午,也可以是晚上,如下:

正餐:在中午吃或晚上吃的一天正餐

宴会:为了某人或某事而举行的一次正式宴会或大宴会。

supper就是晚餐,较随便的那种(来自法语的‘汤”)。

需要注意的是,当中午是正餐(dinner)时,晚餐就可以是supper.

2. 初步了解时间的概念并能简单应用:

What time is it?

It’s + o’clock.

What day is it today?

Today is…

It’s time to get up.

It’s time to go to school.

四、集体操练(free talk)

主题:” What time is it?”

规则:老师提出问题” What time is it?”

学生回答:”It’s …o’clock.”

E.g. A: What time is it?

B: It’s nine o’clock.

五、互动游戏或角色扮演

教材第七页 游戏:What time is it?

目的: 鼓励学生大胆开口说英语,学会用英语表达时间。让学生在模仿,

学习,表演的基础上达到自然交流与真实运用的目的.

方案一:集体做游戏。

时间BINGO

目的:熟悉时间的英文表述

道具:让学生每人在纸上画一个4*4的格子,老师在黑板上写出20个时间。

方法:让学生在黑板上的时间中任意挑选16个填在自己的格子里。老师随意说出黑板上的时间。如果听到老师念自己格子里的时间,就在那一格上画叉。哪位同学化的叉在横、竖、斜或对角的四个格子连成线,就大喊BINGO!继续游戏,决出前三名。

方案二:分组做游戏。(培养团队精神)

小朋友分成几组,然后教师在黑板上写上句型:”I

have …for …at…”让每组轮流做练习。轮到哪一组时,教师出示时钟的卡片,学生则根据这个时间造句。如时钟卡片的时间是8点,学生可以造句I have milk and bread for breakfast at 8 o’clock.这其中的早餐,午餐和晚餐对应是时间需正确。哪一组同学回答的正确又多的话获胜。

六、家庭作业:

巩固练习:教材第十三页朗读。
