Unit 4 2. Ability aims (1) To make students know various kinds of transportation ways; (2) To improve students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities. 3. Moral aims This lesson mainly aims to develop students’ potential ability of talking about transportation means with people around them, and let students learn to communicate with others and show their care to others. Ⅷ Teaching procedures Step 1 Lead-in (3') I will show students a picture which shows a lot of students gettingto school. Then I will say, “You get to school everyday. How do you get to school?” After hearing my words, students will try to give different answers according to their own experiences. Then I will say, “OK, today we are going to talk about the ways you get to school Step 2 Presentation I will use some colorful pictures to show students various transportation means, then ask them to identify what they are (When students can not tell, I will give them some guidance to help them to answer the questions). T: What is this? (pointing to one of the pictures) Ss (together): It’s a train. T: Good! And what is this? S1: It’s a bike. T: Well done! Now please look at this picture, do you know what this is? Ss: Em…, no. T: It looks like a train, but it is not a train. We call it “subway”. Are you clear now? Ss: Yes! After showing all the pictures, I will write down the new words “train” and “subway” on the blackboard. Then I will ask students to read after me and correct their pronunciations.

Unit6德育目标:通过比较,正确认识自己及他人的优缺点,保持良好的生活习惯。

重点:tall, short, smart, long, wild, quiet, funny, heavy, outgoing, serious, athletic的比较级。 难点:比较级在句型: -Is that …? -- No, it isn’t . It’s …. It’s …. …is …than …. 比较级用于俩者人或物之间的比较,通常句型为:“甲+be+形容词的比较级+than+乙。

1).知识目标: 掌握重点词汇如:radio,comfortable,seat等等。 主要句型What’s the best …?It has the friendliest service./the best quality/the most comfortable seat (2).能力目标 能对三者或三者以上的事物进行比较给出自己的见解做出自己的判断表达自己的喜好。 (3) 情感: 通过对学校及家乡的各种娱乐设施作比较引导学生爱学校、爱家乡的情怀;培养学生之间相互合作。 3.教学重、难点 重点掌握本课的重点词汇如: radio ,station ,comfortable主要句型(What’s the best …?It has the friendliest service./the best quality/the most comfortable seat.等 难点不规则形容词比较级和最高级构成法及正确运用.如good, better, bestbad, worse, worst

首先通过多媒体呈现一张大象的图片并问学生Is it big? 学生回答Yes, it’s big.然后呈现另一张更大的大象问学生How about this one?学生回答It’s bigger than the first one.最后呈现一张最大的大象图片并说The second one is bigger than the first one,but the third one is bigger than the second one. So we can say that the third one is the biggest of three. 从而很自然地引导学生进入到本单元目标语言的学习。 Step 3 呈现 1、通过多媒体呈现两幅图片分别是成龙、刘德华和谢霆锋上面标有他们的生日、身高、体重等基本信息。通过对他们三人基本信息的对比让学生在回顾形容词比较级的用法的同时进一步过渡到对形容词最高级的学习例如Liu Dehua is taller than Chen Long. But Xie Tingfeng is the tallest. Liu Dehua is heavier than Chen Long. But XieTingfeng is the heaviest. 2、然后通过多媒体呈现三张电影院的图片引导学生两人一组根据刚才所学的目标语言进行问答。例如What’s the biggest movie theater?
