Module 7 Unit 1 Let’s send an email.教学设计

一、 教材分析

本单元主要描述了发送一封电子邮件的过程,实用性和操作性强。通过Tom和Amy的对话,让我们了解了什么是电子邮件以及如何写电子邮件并成功发送,使学生感受到用网络交流在现实生活中的快捷和美丽。

二 、学情分析

本节课的教学对象是五年级的学生, 经过两年多的英语学习,他们已备了一定的知识积累和学习方法,表现力强,对待事物有自己独特的见解,喜欢彰显个性;本课的主题电子邮件又和他们的生活息息相关,所以他们对本节课充满了期待,有强烈的进一步学习的愿望,学习效果一定不错。

三 、教学目标

(一)知识目标

1、能听说读写单词:message.another.idea.

2、能熟练运用目标语句:Let’s send an email . Click on “Email”./ “Write” / “Send”. Write your message.

(二)能力目标

1、能熟知发送电子邮件的步骤。

2、能在生活中通过电子邮件与人进行交流。

(三)情感目标

通过学习发送电子邮件,培养学生的注意力、观察力和动手操作能力,增强学生在实际生活中运用英语的能力,增进与同学之间互相交流的积极情感。

四、 教学重难点

1、教学重点:能熟练运用:Let’s send an email . Click on “Email”/ “Write” / “Send”. Write your message.等描述发送电子邮件的具体步骤。

2、教学难点:学会发送电子邮件的具体步骤并能在网上实际操作。

五、教学方法:多媒体辅助教学、TPR活动教学。

Step 1.Warm up

1.Greetings.

T:Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Ms Liang

2.T:Today we’ll have an interesting English class. At first,we’ll sing a song together,OK? “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”(多媒体课件视频)

Ss:OK . (设计意图:通过网络搜索一起唱英文歌,营造出轻松愉快地英语学习氛围,激起学生学习英语的热情) Step 2 Lead-in

T:Do you know how to communicate with others in our daily life? OK, today we’re going to talk about communication.How do you communicate with your friends? Ss:??(生说,师板书)

3. Leading-in (导入新课):

T:How do you communicate(交流、沟通) with your friends?(你如何跟你的朋友沟通?)(课件出示)

S1: I call my friends by phone.

S2: I write letters to my friends.

S3: I talk with my fiends by mobile phone.

S4: I talk with my fiends on QQ.

S5: I can write emails to my friend.

T: Can you send an email?

Ss: Most of can’t.

T: In this class ,we will learn “ how to send an email ?”

[设计意图:引出教学主题,同时给本课的教学布置了教学任务。]

Step2.Presentation(新课展现 ): (任务呈现,感知新知)

1) T: What’s an email? ( Listen and answer)Have you found it?

S1: It’s a computer message.

T: Look, the message goes from one computer to another computer.(电脑操作演示) T: Do you know what’s an email?

Ss: Yes,It’s a computer message. It goes from one computer to another computer. (课件显示It’s a computer message. It goes from one computer to another computer.) (设计意图:通过电脑操作演示,形象生动地诠释了单词email)

Step3. Text.

1、Amy and Tom are sending an email to their Dad .Do you want to know how do they send an email? Let’s listen and answer.(放第一遍录音)Answer the questions:(PPT呈现)

(1)What’s an email? (2)Who helped Tom send an email?

(3)Who has got the email from Tom?

(设计意图:第一遍听录音,让学生带着简单的问题听,培养学生的注意力和观察力,提高学生的听力水平。)

2、Read and learn:How to send an email? (放第二遍录音)

(1)Look at the text.listen and read after the tape and underline the sentences about “Sending an email.”

(设计意图:让学生听录音模仿跟读,培养学生地道的语音语调。随着问题的深入进一步培养学生边听边思考的学习习惯。)

(2)Work in groups. Please find out the steps of sending an email 。

(设计意图:学生四人小组合作学习课文完成发送电子邮件的几个步骤,检查学生对本课的理解和掌握情况,培养学生的合作精神。)

(3)“How to send an email? (小组汇报发送电子邮件的步骤,教师板书) S: Click on “Email”. S: Click on “Write”.

S: Write your message. S: Click on “Send”.

3 、Read and mumber .(ppt)

4、T: Now we’ve got the four steps of sending an email. Let’s try to send an email to Ms liao . 601800370@qq.com. I do it ,you say(课件演示发送过程)

Ss: That’s a good idea!

(设计意图:利用所学知识现场发送电子邮件,使学生体会到知识与科技的力量,并很好地调动起学生的学习积极性.)

5、Let’s chant.

Email. email. Let’s send an email

click, click,click on “Email”;

click, click,click on “Write”;

Write, Write, write your message;

click,click,click on “Send”;

Oh, yeah! I can send an email.

(设计意图:将重难点编成琅琅上口的chant来降低难度,通过齐读,小组读,个人读chant等方式进一步巩固加深印象,同时使学生保持着高昂的学习热情。)

6、 listen and repeat.Try to imitate its pronunciation and intonation.(第三遍录音)

(设计意图:坚持多听、多模仿录音,积极推进发标准音工程。)

7.Listen and repeat, then choose “True(T)”or “False (F)”.(让学生齐读课文后并四人小组思考讨论完成练习。)

Step4.Practice. ( 情景操练,巩固新知)

T: I can send an email. Can you send an email? Who can come here and send an email ?(课件演示发送过程)

Ss: Let me try!

T: That girl, please! You do and say. We’ll help you.

S: OK! Click on“Email”.

S: Click on “Write”.

S: Write your message.

S: Click on “Send”.

(找某位同学上台实际演示一遍。老师与其他同学可以提醒和帮助。)

[设计意图:发送电子邮件的过程既是技能的掌握过程,又是学生练习使用新知的过程,完成本课的教学任务。]

Step 5:Development 1.T: If we want to send an email ,we must have an email address,

now, let’s see how to sign up(申请) an email address. (演示申请邮箱的过程,当申请结束后,让学生进行实际操作发送电子邮件的过程。)

(设计思路:这一部分让学生把刚学到的知识用到自己的身边,可以巩固所学的知识,为学生创造真实的语言环境。)

Step 6: Grammar

简单介绍语法:祈使句

Step7.Sum-up. (归纳总结 掌握新知)

T: What did you learn in this class?

Step 8:Homework

1.Sign up an email address (申请一个电子邮箱。).

2.Send an email to me . (发送一封电子邮件给我。)

(设计思路:作业设计是为了巩固学生的书写能力,通过申请邮箱发送电子邮件促使学生在实践中运用所学英语,增强对所学英语的体验,挖掘学生综合运用语言的能力。)
