【教材简析】

本课的教学内容是《牛津小学英语》 6B Unit 5 The seasons A板块Listen, read and say。本单元主要围绕“季节和气候”这个话题开展各项教学活动,涉及到的日常交际用语有介绍、询问、建议等,其中,以询问天气及其应答为重点内容,同时学习一些与气象相关的词汇。

【教学目标预设】

1 知识目标:

1)能听懂、会说、会读、会写weather, next

2)能听懂、会说、会读rain, rainy, in the countryside ,make snowmen, most of the time, Sounds great!

3)能综合运用句型What’s the weather like ?? It’s usually/ often/ sometimes ?询问天气或者四季的气候,并用不同的频率副词搭配做出相应的回答。

2. 能力目标 : 使学生通过本课的学习, 能运用所学句型询问天气情况并向他人介绍某地的天气状况。

3. 情感目标 :

1)让学生了解纽约四季的情况,开拓学生视野。

2)在合作和交流中培养学生运用所学语言进行交际的能力, 激发学生对家乡的热爱。

【教学重、难点】

重点:

1.能熟练掌握谈论季节的词汇。

2.能熟练朗读本单元的对话,指导学生理解。

难点:

1.引导学生主动了解纽约的天气并理解课文。

2.让学生能用综合运用所学语言交流天气状况。

【设计理念】

本课主要围绕“季节和气候”这个话题开展各项活动,同时学习一些常用的与气象相关的词汇。在学本课之前我平时就渗透了气候的英文问答,因为这与学生的日常生活联系紧密。而四季中的Spring ,autumn已经在6A教材节假日中初步学习过了,于是我平时也渗透了四季单词,降低了教材的难度。在教学时,我更多的是采用多媒体课件的呈现,生动地展现天气的变化和四季的更替,通过多媒体的呈现学生很容易地理解了单词的意思,既呈现的单词,又开动了学生的各种感官,加深了印象。

【设计思路】

本课的主要内容是一年四季的天气情况以及在四季当中所要做的事情,对于这些内容学生有着真实的感受,也便于交流。新课改的宗旨是“一切为了学生”,所以我在设计本课时,充分让学生通过真实的感受来进行交流,使得他们有话要说,从而培养他们运用英语进行交际的能力,突出以人为本的素质教育思想。

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warm up

1. Greetings and free talk

T: Today we are going to talk about the seasons.

(板书课题 Unit5 The seasons)

There are four seasons in a year. What are they?

S: They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. (板书spring, summer, autumn, winter)

T:Which season do you like best?

S: I like ? best.

T: Why?

S: Because it’s ? I can ?

T: Sounds great.

T:Which season do you like best?

S: I like ? best.

T: Why?

S: Because it’s ? I can ?

T:It’s great fun.

(设计意图:在热身部分我设计了这样的对话,可以引出make snowmen等一些词组,而且‘Sounds great’和‘It’s great fun’这两个句子也是课文中要出现的,在这里我提前让学生们感受了这两个句子的意思。)

Step 2 Lead in

Game : lucky number

1) T: Now, let’s play a game called lucky number. Look, here are four numbers. You can choose one as your lucky number, and answer my questions.(幻灯片出示游戏图片以及问题)

(设计意图:这个游戏是出示四个数字让学生自己选择一个作为他的幸运数字,然后根据数字的指引回答相应的问题,在这些问题中我复习了频度副词还部分呈现了这节课的新单词及短语。通过游戏的形式呈现,学生应该对此比较感兴趣。) T: Autumn is the best season in Nan Jing. Autumn is also a harvest season .Look, what are they doing ?(幻灯片出示摘苹果的图片)

S: They are picking apples.

T: Where can they pick apples?

S: On the farm.

T: People usually go to farms in the countryside. (PPT: in the countryside).Is this a countryside?(PPT:纽约城市的图片)

S:No, it isn’t.

T: Yes, it’s a city. Do you know which city is it?

S: New York city.

T: Yes , it is New York. Su yang’s Dad is going to New York soon. let’s go and see what is Su yang doing.

Step 3 Presentation

The first part

T: boys and girls, now let’s listen to the introduction part of the text and then answer these questions:

Q1.Who is going to New York?

Q2.What is he going to do there?

Q3.What does Su Yang want to know?

Q4.Who is Su Yang asking for?

Students listen and answer the questions

T: after finish these questions ,let’s complete the following table:

Students come to the blackboard and complete the table

(设计意图:根据阅读目的确定不同的阅读策略)

The second part

1. T: now let’s listen to the dialogue and then tick out the questions about the text :

Q1. What's the weather like in spring?

Q2. What's the weather like there in summer? Is it hot ?

Q3. Does it often rain there in spring?

Q4. What about autumn there?

Q5. Which season in New York do you like best? Why ?

Q6. What do people usually do in autumn?

Students listen to the dialogue and tick out the questions.

T: Everyone did a good job just now .Everybody was great . Now let’s answer these questions.

Students answer the ticking out questions.

2. T: after answering the questions let’s read the text by yourselves and try to use four adverbs to describe the four seasons in New York: Spring is a beautiful season in New York.

Summer is ______________ in New York.

Autumn is _______________ in New York.

Winter is ________________ in New York

3. T: Well done boys and girls , can you retell the four seasons in New

York now? You can talk to your partners in the group of four.

集体荣誉感和成就感,发展合作精神) Step 4 Consolidation

T: so much for our text ,after learning this lesson I hope all of us should

love nature and love life!

Step 6 Homework

1.熟读课文两遍.

2.根据课文内容编写一段关于兴化天气的对话.

3. 向自己的家人介绍关于纽约的天气.
