一、教学内容:PEP小学英语Book 6 Unit 3 Part A Let’s talk

二、教学目标:

1、知识目标:能够听、说、认读句型:When is your birthday?My birthday is in February.Is your birthday in February,too?No, my birthday is in ...;

2、能力目标:能运用句型:When is your birthday?My birthday is in February.Is your birthday in February,too?No, my birthday is in ...与同学、父母进行交流;

3、学习策略:培养学生合作学习的能力;

4、情感态度:通过运用新学句型询问同学及父母等的生日,懂得给生日的同学献上祝福;

5、文化意识:了解中西方节日所在的月份。

三、教学重、难点:

1、教学重点:能够在已学会的句型:When is your birthday?My birthday is in...的基础上,听、说、认读新句型:Is your birthday in ...,too?

2、教学难点:学生能使用多样化的句型询问同学的生日以及节日的月份,如:When is your birthday?Is your birthday in ...?When is New Year’s Day?

四、课前准备:

PPT、练习纸

五、教学步骤:

1、Warm-up & Greeting:

(1)T:Good morning,boys and girls!Now let’s chant together!播放P26中Let’s chant的内容,学生跟着录音边唱歌谣边做动作;

(2)Sharp eyes:在PPT上闪过十二个月份的单词,教师提问:Which month is it?学生根据PPT上闪过的单词回答:It is ...。

2、Free talk:

T:Which month is it now?

A:It’s March.

T:Is your birthday in March?

A:Yes,it is./No, it is in January.

T:When is your birthday?

B:My birthday is in October.

T:Is your birthday in October,too?

C:Yes,it is./No,my birthday is in June.(板书)

学生根据教师的示范进行对话并呈现其对话。

3、Lead in:

创设情境:To get the birthday gifts

Zoom’s birthday is coming,Zip has already prepared the gifts for him.But Zip asks Zoom to finish the tasks,then he can get the birthday gifts. PPT上呈现相关的图片以及文字。

4、Presentation & Practice

(1)Listen and judge

①Tick or cross

播放Let’s talk的录像,学生看录像并作出判断,完全正确则通过第一关;

②Read after the radio

③Read with your partner

④Role play

(2)Make a birthday chart

学生运用Let’s talk的内容进行对话,收集同学的生日月份,并能做report,则通过第二关(教师在学生做调查前做示范:

T:When is your birthday?

S:My birthday is in ....

T:Is your birthday in...,too?

S:Yes./No,my birthday is in ...

在report前再次做示范:XXX’s birthday is in ...);

(3)Sharp eyes

PPT上先闪过任务的图片(Mike、Amy等)再闪过月份的单词(January、February等),学生说出:Mike’s birthday is in January.

(4)Listen and answer

播放Let’s try的录音,学生听录音写下Amy和Amy’s family的生日月份,正确听出月份则通过第三关(在检查答案时,教师带入句型:

When is Amy’s/her mother’s/her father’s birthday ?)

5、Consolidation & Extension:

(5)Make a dialogue

PPT上给出表格,包括I、my mother、my father等的生日信息,学生根据信息做对话练习:When is your/your mother’s/father’s birthday?然后学生做report,并在PPT上给出文字提示:My birthday is in ....My father’s birthday is in...,and my mother’s birthday is in...。

(6)Match

完成Let’s find out的练习,将节日与其相对应的月份连线,并渗透节日的知识,正确则通过第四关(通过运用句型:When is Tree-planting Day?It is in April.来校对答案。)

完成所有任务,Zoom拿到了Zip的礼物。

6、Homework:

Make your family’s birthday chart and talk about it with your partner.

六、板书设计:

B:My birthday is in February.

A:Is your birthday in February,too?

C: Yes./No,my birthday is in December.
