教学目标:

2.能听懂、会说、会读单词及词组blow out, a candle, a costume, a doorbell, January, February, July, August, September, October, November, December, fifth, sixth, twelfth, twentieth, twenty-first, wait, VCD, Aladdin, take off

3.能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语What date is it today? It’s the 16th of October. My birthday’s coming soon. Would you like to come to my birthday party? Would you like a VCD of Japanese cartoons, too? Let’s wait and see. Happy birthday to you!

4.能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型When’s your birthday? My birthday’s on? What would you like as a birthday present? I’d like?

5.能听读、辨认字母组合ear在单词中的读音。

6.能有表情的诵读Today is my birthday.

7.通过开展丰富多彩的活动,引导学生体会、了解英语国家人们过生日时的风俗习惯,培养学生跨文化交际的能力。

课时目标:

第一课时:(一) 知识目标:

1、使学生能够听懂、会说、会读、和会拼写单词when, as, present, wait, VCD, Aladdin

2、能听懂、会说和会读日常交际用语What date is it today ?It’s the ??My birthday’s coming .Would you like to come my birthday party ? Would you like a VCD of Japanese cartoons, too? Let’s wait and see .

3、能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型What date is it today ? It’s the ?? When’s your birthday ? My birthday is on ?..;. What would you like as a birthday present ? I’d like ??

(二)能力目标:

使学生能够学会问日期、问生日、邀请、征求意见,并能够运用本

节课的重要句型进行综合的交际运用,培养学生综合语言运用的能力。

(三)情感目标:

让学生在学习的过程中能够树立自信,并学会关心他人,尊重他人,互相团结友爱。

第二课时:

1. 四会掌握单词:March, April, May, June, July,birthday.

2. 能听懂会说会读单词:January, February, August, September, October, November, December, first, second, third, fourth, sixth, twelfth, twentieth, twenty-first, thirtieth.

3.进一步巩固掌握句型:When’s your birthday?My birthday’s on?What would you like as a birthday present? I’d like? 第三课时:

1.通过复习,要求学生能熟练掌握本单元所学的表日期的词汇。

2.能熟练地在情景中运用本单元所学的句型和日常交际用语。

3.能进一步掌握句型When’s your birthday? My birthday’s on ? What would you like as a birthday present? I’d like ?

4.能听懂会说会读单词blow out, a candle a costume, a doorbell,take off;能熟读E部分短文。

5.初步了解字母组合ear在单词中的读音。

教学过程:

第一课时

Step 1 :Free talk

1、T:What date is it today ? S:It’s ??(教师带学生读日期)

2、(课件呈现二十几个标志图片,并排列好顺序,Unit 1 所学穿插其中)T:Which one means “No parking” ? S:The first . Ss:Yes . f-i-r-s-t (同理复习 second ,third, fifth, eighth, twelfth, twentieth, twenty-first )

3、(教师呈现月份的卡片) T:Tell me the month is ?? S:说每个月份的名称T:Read them together two times .

4、(呈现4个节日:妇女节、儿童节、教师节、圣诞节)T:What date is it today ? S:It’s ??T:(教师板书四个日期,红色强调日期的表达the 日 of 月)

Step 2. Presentation

1、T:My birthday is coming . It’s on ?? When’s your birthday ? S:My birthday is on ??(问两个学生) T:板书,教读when , When’s your birthday ? T:Say it yourselves . My birthday is on ?? 然后全班之内相互问生日,教师开头问,学生回答并接着问全班某个同学

2、T:Do you usually have a birthday party ? S:Yes , I do , T:I see. And me, too. On my birthday party , I can get lots of presents . Look! ( 教师呈现一个包装好非常漂亮的礼物) This is a birthday present . Guess , what is it ? Ss:学生猜是什么礼物 T:Let’s wait and see. (教师打开礼物,学生们都应被漂亮的礼物吸引)Do you like this present ? Ss:Yes . 教师教读单词

present .(单词较难读,应对学生强调口型,指名纠正,学生读的好要及时鼓励)

3、T:I’d like a yo-yo as a birthday present , too . What would you like as a birthday present ?S:I’d like ??T:问两三个同学后呈现句型教读 T:When’s your birthday ? S:My birthday is on ??T:What would you like as a birthday present ? S:I’d like a ??

4.T:Just now, we talked about birthday.(板书:Unit 2 birthday) Jim and Ben are talking about birthday, too. Let’s watch the cartoon: Whose birthday is coming soon?

(进入课文教学,整体听后回答问题, 并加板书Ben’s birthday)

5.分段处理:

(1)听录音,跟读课文第一段。

(2) T: They are talking about Ben’s birthday. When’s Ben’s birthday?

(自读课文第二段后选择正确的答案:A. the 16th of October B. the 18th of October C. the 6th of August )

再读第二段并讨论A的时间:What date is it today? It is the 16th of October.

B的时间:When’s Jim’s birthday? It’s on the 6th of August. 听录音,跟读课文第二段。

(3)T: Ben will have a birthday party. If you are Ben’s friend, what will you buy for him?

(小组讨论并交流)

T: What would he like as his birthday presents? Tick the correct presents.

(大声朗读第三段并同桌讨论,新授词组 a VCD of Japanese cartoons) 反馈交流:What would he like as his birthday presents?

He would like ?.

跟读第三段,并解释Let’s wait and see的意思。

Step 3 :Practice

1、学生看书听对话全文,再次学习课文

2、学生模仿跟读对话两遍

3、学生分组分角色朗读对话,教师巡视并给予个别辅导

4、请学生分角色朗读(个体—整体)

5、跳读课文,试着把下列一段话完整地表达出来,然后填一填。

Today is the _______ of ________. Ben and Jim are talking about their __________.Ben’s birthday is on the ______ of ________. Jim’s birthday is ______ the ________ of _______. Ben will have a birthday party. _______ would like to come to his birthday party. Ben would like a ________ and a ______ of Japanese cartoons. Step 4:Consolidation

1、 “友情备忘录”活动

1)内容:珍惜这最后的一年小学生活,让我们为自己的好友或同学过一次生日,给他(她)一个惊喜,留下美好回忆。

2)要求:了解同学的生日、爱好、想要的礼物等;运用本课的所学或综合运用其他已学知识

Step 5 Homework

1、 听录音,用正确的语音语调朗读本课的对话,并能够表演

2、 抄写本课的“四会”单词和句子

3、 进一步完成“友情备忘录”

学习了PartA。

T:Can you answer my questions about Part A?

(1)When’s Ben’s birthday?

(2)When’s Jim’s birthday?

(3)What would Ben like as birthday presents?

2、复述课文

Step 2:Look,read and learn

1.T:We have known Ben’s birthday is in October and Jim’s birthday is in August.There are twelve months in a year.Which is the first/second/??month?

教师出示12个月份的单词卡片,并领读这些单词。

2.T: What date is it?(教师指挂历上的任意一天)

Teach: first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth?

Eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth?

Twentieth,twenty-first,twenty-second?

Thirtieth, thirty-first, ?

3.教师介绍序数词,引导学生去发现序数词构成的规律。

4.Play games:

(1) 配对游戏:基数词与序数词配对。

(2)The next number报数游戏。

5.教师用课件呈现3个节日的日期,如妇女节、儿童节和教师节,然后引导学生用英语说出这些日期。

T:Do you know these holidays?

Ss:Yes.They’re Women’s Day/Children’s Day/Teachers’ Day. T:When is Women’s Day/??

Ss:It’s on the eighth of March/?

教师板书以上三个日期,并用红色粉笔强调日期的表达方式,即“the+日期+of+月份”或“月+日”,然后简要讲解日期的读法,并领读这三个日期。

6.教师用课件呈现自己过生日的照片与生日日期,并自然过渡到询问学生的生日。

T:Look at this photo.It’s about my birthday.My birthday is on ?(to S1)When’s your birthday?

S1:My birthday is on?

教师板书这两个句型,并领读。然后同桌之间相互询问生日,然后以“开火车”的形式开展相互询问生日的问答练习。

7. T: Look! What's this?

S: It's a yo-yo.

T: Yes. It's very nice. It's my birthday present.

T: What's this?

T: It's a VCD of Japanese cartoons. It's my birthday present , too. Learn: present.

T: (出示几样礼物)This is my birthday present. 逐样展示。

T: What would you like as a birthday present?

Learn: as, what would you like as a birthday present?

Step 3:Ask and answer

1.T:Jim and his friends are talking about their birthdays.What are they saying.Let’s have a look.

(give a model)T:When’s your birthday?

S:My birthday’s on?

T:What would you like as a birthday present? S:I’d like?

2.同桌选择一副图片问答,教师逐图反馈。

Step 4:Consolidation

1.Listen and write

T:We know Ben usually have a birthday party.Now he is talking to his family about his birthday party.Let’s listen and complete the sentences with the correct words in the box.

2.学生听两遍录音,然后师生一起校对答案。

Step 5:Homework

1. 抄写四会单词:March, April, May, June, July,birthday.

2.选择C部分两幅图写下来。

1. 一个月份出现,指名说,然后齐说.

出现日期如: 一月一日,二月三日,三月十二日 ?

2. T: What date is it today?

S: It is ?

T: Is it your birthday today?先让学生回答,然后再继续My birthday is on ?

When is your birthday? 问几个学生.

T: What would you like as a birthday present?

让学生用不同的句式来回答。e.g. I’d like a yo-yo. Some flowers, please.

T: You are all good students. Do you like to go to KFC?

S: Yes.

T: Very good! I want to hold birthday parties for you. So would you please finish this table?

First I give you an example.( 板书KFC ,下面表格)

老师介绍表格情况.

3.学生活动.

Can you introduce your sheet.

学生介绍:××’s birthday is on ?

He /She would like ? as a birthday present.

这儿请一个好生来示范,然后请学生相互询问、了解。

Step 3.: Practise:

看屏幕,同桌练习,然后两两问答.

When is ××’s birthday?

What would he / she like as a birthday present?

Step 4.:Storytime:

1. T: Thank you boys and girls. You all did a good job.

Now let’s have a rest.Let’s watch some cartoons. OK?

2. 播放E部分动画,老师解说,讲解生词。

take off 脱下,试译几个词组。 blow out 吹灭

glow 发光 (教给学生记忆单词的方法)

3. 朗读故事 (同桌读,自由读)

4. 学生尝试说故事,好的得到表扬。

5. 学生完成书本上P19序号填空。

Step 5.:Ask and make:

T: Boys and girls, if someone’s birthday is coming,we can send some cards to them. Can you make a card?

Ss: Yes. / No.

T: Now you can read the steps in our book.

1. Look at the pictures and read by selves.

2. Learn some new words.

3. Read the sentences.

4. Make a card according to the steps in the book.

5. 相互赠送生日贺卡。

Step 6.:Listen and repeat:

1. 出示图片,引出单词。

2. 让学生整体认读单词,体会ear在单词中的发音。

3. 示范读 /I /,讲清发音要领。

4. 学生跟读,模仿。

5. 听录音,跟读。

6. 完成几道辨音题,以巩固所学生内容。

Step 7 :Say a rhyme:

1. Look and read by selves.

2. 讲解几个语言点:

early this morning 今天一大早

came to say came为come的过去式

3. Listen and repeat.

4. Read together, by selves.

5. 小组比赛朗读。

Step 8.:Assignment:

1. 抄写本单元所学的单词、词组和句型,并能默写。

2. 完成练习册中本单元的练习。

3. 听课文录音,背诵本单元对话。
