教学目标:

知识与能力:1、能正确听、说、读、写单词excited;能正确听、说、读单词和词组exciting, sportsday, runningrace, ground, just now。

2、能正确听、说、读、写句型

a moment ago/just now?It was/They were?.

3、能正确运用交际用语

It is Sports Day. Can you pick them up for me,please?

过程与方法:培养学生的语感、观察能力和自学能力。能在具体情境中以口头或书面的形式运用所学知识。

情感态度与价值观:保持学生学习英语的兴趣及运用英语参与语言活动的积极性。培养学生与人交往的能力以及团结协作的意识。

教学重点:

1、能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词和词组was , excited , moment , ago , were , just now .

2、能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型Where’s my / your … ? It’s on / in / near

/ behind / under … It isn’t there now . It was there a moment ago . Where are my / your … ? They’re on / in / near / behind / under … They aren’t there now . They were there a moment ago .

教学难点:

1、能正确区分和运用excited和exciting .

2、初步了解过去式

课时目标:

第一课时:

1.能听懂,会读,会说单词及词组was, were, excited, exciting, just now, a moment ago , running race,Sports Day, on the ground , pick up, film.

2.能听懂,会读,会说并理解句型Where’s your …? It’s on/in the … It isn’t there now. It was there a moment ago. Where are your …? They’re on/in the … They aren’t there now. They were there a moment ago.

3. 能听懂、会读、会说日常交际用语和句型:It is the Sports Day. Let me see. Can I have them, please? Can you pick them up for me, please?

4.能使用该句型在生活中寻找物品。

5.培养学生的学习兴趣,激起学生的学习热情,教育学生养成整齐摆放物品的习惯,培养学生间互帮互助的良好品德。

第二课时:

1、能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词was, moment, ago, were, a mobile phone, glasses

2、能听懂、会说和会读单词 a CD Walkman, roll, film, earphone, a diary

3、能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型Where's my /your...?It's on / in /near /behind / under...It isn't there now .It was there a moment ago.

Where are my/your...? They're on /in /near /behind /under...They aren't there now. They were there just now.

第三课时:

1.通过复习,使学生能熟练运用本单元的单词,句型及日常交际用语。

2.通过对地点的提问,进一步巩固介词的用法。

3.进一步巩固一般过去时。

4.会唱歌曲“Where’s my diary”?

教学过程:

Step 1 lead-in

T: Excuse me,… What day is it today?

S: It’s…

T: Excuse me, do you like singing/dancing?

S: No.

T: Oh, do you have any hobbies?/what do you like?

S: I like…

(问两至三个学生)

T: Now I know some students’ hobbies. Do you know my hobby?

S: No.

T: Now please look.

(呈现几张照片)

T:Now can you guess my hobby?

S: Do you like taking photos?

T: Yes. I like taking photos.

I have a nice camera. Let’s have a look.

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1.Learn:camera, film , ground , a moment ago , just now

T: Here it is . I like taking photos . So I need a camera . Where’s my camera ? Let’s find it . (呈现照相机在包里的图片)

S: It’s in the bag .

T: It isn’t there now . It was there a moment ago .

Learn: was (联系water ) ; a moment ago (联系smoke , different , about , go) 开火车读

T: What else do I need ? Chinese is OK .

S: 胶卷

T: Yes . I need some films , too .

Learn: film 指名读

T: Where are my films ? (呈现胶卷放在地上的图片)

Ts: They’re on the ground .

Learn: ground (联系playground) 小组读

T: They aren’t there now . They were there just now .

Learn: were ; just now (联系jacket , must) Chain drill

2.Learn: Sports Day , running race , excited , exciting

T: Look at this picture . What are the boys doing ?

S: They’re running .

T: Yes , they’re having a running race .

Learn: running race (联系radio , nice) 男女生读

T: The running race is very exciting .

Learn: exciting (令人激动的,令人兴奋的,形容事) 开火车读

T: The running race is very exciting . All the students are very excited . Learn: excited(激动的,兴奋的) 开火车读

简要讲解excited和exciting的区别(excited指人;exciting指物)

T: The students are having a running race . It is Sports Day .

Learn: Sports Day (联系sport) 注意开头第一个字母大写

3. 看A部分的卡通片

T: It is Sports Day . They’re all in the playground now . Let’s watch a video and then answer my question : What are they looking for ?(呈现camera , films , radio …)

S: They’re looking for the camera and the films .

4.听第一段,回答问题

① What are Su Hai and Su Yang doing ?

They’re watching a running race .

② What does Su Hai want to do ?

She wants to take some photos .

③ Who is helping her ?

Su Yang is helping her .

5.读第二段课文,判断正误。

Step1:Warming up

1 Sing a song “where’s my diary?” (先将歌曲放两遍,让学生感受其旋律,然后试唱。难的部分教师可以带唱几遍。)

(设计意图:选择与本课程相符的歌曲,营造轻松氛围,自然地将学生带入学习内容中,为本课教学作知识准备。)

2 Free Talk

(设计意图:师生自由交流,在复习巩固知识的基础上自然导入新课,又拉近师生间的距离。每节课的口语交际十分重要,在农村英语的交流及少,我们只有抓住短暂的几分钟,让学生大胆交流。)

(1) 复习介词 on /in /near /behind /under...多媒体演示

(设计意图:形象的图片及可爱的卡通让学生有从感性到理性的认识,紧张中带着轻松。)

(2) look and say

(设计意图:多媒体展现,复习介词,让学生从视觉上理解、掌握用法,使课堂更加生动形象,避免了抽象的单一的操练。通过对方位的对话操练,既巩固旧知识,又为下面的新时态的引入做准备。因为学生层次差异太大,所以这部分的复习非常有必要,另外对有能力的学生可适当加入in front of, at back of等拓展词汇。)

Step2 Learn the words

(1)出示多媒体(Part B 图片)

T: There are some things in Su Hai and Su Yang’s sitting-room. What's

in their sitting room?

Let students say some things然后屏幕上出现a diary

T: Look, What's this in English?

Teach the new word:a diary(复习名词的复数形式“family”“baby”等将y改为i再加es.

T: Look, What's that in English? 屏幕上出现a telephone a mobile phone试比较两个单词的异同

Teach the new word:a mobile phone

同理教授CD Walkman,(与 Walkman比较)

a roll of film,( 说明film的意思还可以是电影 watch a film看电影)

a pair of glasses,(先可复习与a pair of有关的词组,让学生组词a pair of shoes/trousers)

earphones (找出这个单词中已经学过的部分,便于学生记忆,也初步了解英语合成词) (设计意图:新旧单词的比较以旧带新体现循序渐进的教学规则,从视觉上感知名词的单复数形式。由于六年级的学生有一定的基础,很多单词以前有接触,加上课前的预习,所以新授单词这个环节很快过。)

(3) Guess:Where is /are the ??

(设计意图:通过课件猜“在哪里?”用以学的新单词询问,巩固句型的基础上,开始引入新课。课前可通知有条件的学生将 “CD Walkman,earphones”等物品带来,开展小组操练。)

Step3 Ask and answer

(1)T:Where is your mobile phone?

Ss: It's in the schoolbag.

T: Yes, it's in the schoolbag now.

教师操作,使 mobile phone 消失

T: Is it there now?

Ss: No, it isn't.

T: Yes, it isn't there now.

It was there a moment ago.

Teach: was a moment ago,

(理解说明was是is, am 的过去式,用于过去时态的句子里。当句子表示的事情发生在过去,该句就应用一般过去时。a moment ago 的意思为一会以前,指过去,所以应用一般过去时,动词用过去式。)

(2) Practice these sentences

T: Where's your film?

S1: It's in the desk.

T: It isn't there now.(教师操作,使film消失)

S1:It was there a moment ago.

Let Ss practice like this.

And work in pairs也可用身边的物品对话询问

(3)T:I want to listen to the song “where’s my diary?” again, but I can’t find my earphones. Where are my earphones?

S: They are under the table.

操作多媒体,让earphones 消失

T: Are they under the table now?

S: No, they aren't.

T: Yes, they aren't there now.

They were there just now.

(说明were是are的过去式,用于过去时态的句子里。当句子表示的事情发生在过去,该句就应用一般过去时。理解just now的意思为刚才,指过去,所以应用一般过去时,动词用过去式。)

(4)Practice these sentences

T: Where are the films?

S: They are on the diary.

多媒体操作让films消失

T: They aren’t there now.

S: They were there just now.

(设计意图:多媒体的使用让学生形象的接受过去式,从时空上深入理解。动态的变化使课堂不再是单一的灌输,让学生从各个感觉器官学习、体会。所以这课在设计时我倾向用多媒体,不但教师容易讲授,学生容易掌握,而且课堂活跃,生动形象。)

Step3:Practice

教师示范例图,然后让学生讨论其它图。最后让学生选择图表演对话。 (设计意图:在英语教学中要将听、说、读、写的训练有机结合,使他们相互联系,相互促进,操练这一环节很重要,尤其农村的学生要鼓励他们多读、多说、多表演。)

3 小结一下过去式:一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用,如a moment ago, just now, yesterday,

last week, three months ago等。动词be的过去式为was和were。第一人称单数和第三人称单数用was,其余用were.

(设计意图:一节课的小结让本课的重难点一目了然,让学生从感性上升到理性认识,理解、掌握一般过去时态的用法。)

4 用be动词的适当形式填空

1、All the students ________watching a running race.

讲解:做习题时首先要考虑时态,这要求学生先将时间状语找出来,确定时态,像just now,a moment ago,last weekend,等过去的时间用一般过去式,然后在定人称,单复数,确定be动词。这样一步步做题的习惯要在平时养成。

(设计意图:通过练习及时巩固be动词的用法,符合英语教学听、说、读、写的要求。进一步巩固操练一般过去时态,让学生从习题中掌握。) Step4:Homework

(4) 让学生利用其它图片进行四会句型的操练。

T: We’re tired. Let’s learn an English song.

First listen to the song.

Then sing after the tape.
