二、所在班级情况,学生特点分析:本班共有学生30人,男生22人,女生8人,一半学生优秀,剩余部分有些中等,有些学困,整体素质较好,聪明伶俐,活泼好动,爱说爱唱,对英语很感兴趣。

三、教学内容分析:学唱英文歌曲“Oh, Christmas tree”,掌握四会单词 special, bring, give ,要求学生在熟练掌握单词的基础上

能够说一些简单的句子,通过本课的学习,让学生学会关心热爱身边的每一个人。

四、教学目标:1. Student can understand read say and practice the dialogue of this lesson.

2. Student can understand and read the story about Christmas.

3. Student can sing the song “The Christmas Carol”.

Step 1.Organizing the teaching

1)Greetings

2)Sing the English song “Oh, Christmas Tree”.

Step 2. Revision:

1)Play “Spell It” to review any vocabulary in this unit.

Step 3.Key concepts:

1)Introduce: The Ss have seen the word

“special” several times in this unit. Ask them to find the word in lesson 25 and lesson27.What do the Ss think it means?

2)Student book:Explain that this story is the traditional story of Christmas.Everyone who speaks English knows the story,but not everyone believes it’s true.For many people Christmas is a time to enjoy friends and family.They

celebtateChristmas, but don’t all believe in God.This story contains a lot of new words that the Ss will not understand .But they will be able to guess the meaning of the story.Help them understand the main idea.The main idea is that Jesus was born on Christmas day and three wise men brought him gifts.That’s why people celebrate Christmas and give gifts on Christmas.

3)Practice:

a. Teach the “Rocking Carol” in No.2 of the student book.This is a traditional Christmas carol.

b. Divide the class into small groups. Each student draws a picture of something special they can name in English and that they would like to give us a gift.

答:通过本课的学习,学生会唱一首关于圣诞节的歌曲,了解了西方国家的重大节日。通过画画来帮助学生学习,激发学生对英语的学习兴趣。关于单词“special”,教师讲解完意思和发音以后,可以让学生说一个他们认为是特殊的东西,然后给大家讲一讲为什么特殊。这样既练习了单词“special”又锻炼了学生的口语水平。故事背诵阶段,表演阶段,学生有点困难,花的时间也比较长,尽管学生参与热情高但效果不是很满意,因为要求学生对故事脱书表演对话,导致大部分学生记忆不牢固,表演过程中需要教师和优等生提示。总结经验教训,以后在教授这一类型的课文时,知道该怎样把握。
