Unit 2 Do you want some rice? 教案

单元学情分析:

教学对象是五年级的学生,是三年级起始阶段学过两年英语的学生,他们掌握一些日常用语,学了四十句基本句型。在听、说、读方面,有一定基础。他们正处于从听说向读写过渡的阶段。所以,各种技能的培养均很重要。为此,我把导入设计从学生较为熟悉的环节入手,减少其心理压力,增强自信心。

Period 1

一、教学目标

1、能听懂、会说新单词lunch、rice、soup、vegetables;

2、能用句型“Do you want some…?”询问他人的需求,及用“Yes, please. No, thank you.”对该询问表示感谢;

3、能听懂、会说本课对话;

4、培养学生文明礼貌的行为习惯。

二、教学重点及难点

重点:运用“Do you want some…?”及“Yes, please. No, thank you.”进行对话。 难点:理解some more在对话中饿含义。

三、教学准备

单词卡片、教学光盘、教学课件等。

四、教学步骤

Step 1 Warming up

1. Make a greeting.

2. Ask and answer

T: Are you hungry? What would you like?

S1: Yes, I’d like…. .

3.Sing and act the rhyme.

Step 2 Presentation and drill

1.教学单词 water.

T: I’m thirsty. I want something to drink.

S1: Do you want a cold drink?

T: No, thank you. I want some water.(出示单词卡片,带读)

2.Learn the new words and

phrases: soup/vegetables/breakfast/supper/lunch/pepper/salt (CAI课件展示情景,学习新单词)

3.单词教学。

单词教授方式:教师领读

小组内组长带领学生读单词

小组展示(通过邀请小组展示来看学生们的掌握情况,同时纠正学生的 发音)

游戏:快速猜单词(采用快闪法,露头法,这样既提高了学生的注意力,

同时也使学生得到相对的休息,得到了预想的效果)

4.引入句型Do you want some …?

T take an apple and ask: 在上一环节的基础上,提出问题Do you want an apple? Help Ss answer the question in this way: Yes, please/ No, thank you.教师可以引导学生回答Yes, please./No, thank you. 师生之间用所学的单词,多操练。

T: Let’s have lunch.

(to S1) Do you want some rice?

(to S2) Do you want some soup?

(to S3) Do you want some vegetables?

学生回答:Yes, please./No, thank you.

Step 3 Practice

1. Let’s chant.(学生随着鼓点声边打节拍边读 )

Do you want some rice? Do you want some rice?

Yes, please . Yes, please.

Do you want some soup? Do you want some soup?

No, thank you. No, thank you。

(学生可用所学单词替换在chant中。)

2.Listen to the tape.

3. Read after the tape.

4.Read after the teacher.

Step 4 Consolidation

1)Make a new situation.

情景A:快餐店里,服务员热情周到的招呼前来就餐的顾客。 情景B:生日宴会上,主人热情的招待客人,客人礼貌地回应。

2)Assessment.

对课堂上表现好的小组进行表扬。

3)Exercises.

A:制作2张本节课所学新单词的单词卡片,并在下节课上与同学进行相互问答,巩固所学单词,运用所学句型,应用于生活.

B:听磁带,读Part A.
