Unit2 They can’t walk .

一、教学目标:

知识目标:

1、能听、说、读并正确使用单词:sit ,chick;短语:sit down。

2、能理解并掌握句型: He/She/They can't...

能力目标:学会用This girl can't walk. Her father helps her.表达某人没有的能力。

情感目标:培养学生乐于帮助人的良好品质。

能了解k, c, g, f, ff, v在单词中的读音/k/ /g/ /f/ /v/; 能演唱歌曲A Good Friend;

二、教学重点:

1、能听、说、读本课的单词及短语。

2、学会用This girl can't walk. Her father helps her.表达某人没有的能力。。

三、教学难点:

熟练运用This little girl can’t walk .This old man can’t sit

down. Her father helps her表达某人没有的能力。

四、教具准备:图片,点读笔等

教学过程:

Step1 Warming up:

1. Greetings.

2. Sing a song:I can’t do it.

(以歌曲来稳定学生情绪,创设英语学习氛围。) 3. 出示Module7 Unit1的三张图片:

Look, the man is blind, he can’t see.

Who can help him?

The dogs can help him. The dogs are useful. 利用三幅图复习第一单元的主要内容。

4. Free talk.

I can make a cake/wash clothes Can you?.

Can you walk? Can he walk?

Can you swim? Can she swim? …

Can you help him(her)? 你能帮助他(她)吗? Step 2Presentation

1. 出示图片,引出课题。

T: Can the children walk?

Ss: No,they can’t. (师面对全体学生,同时引导学生回答.)

T: Yes.they can’t walk. Today, let’s learn lesson Unit 2 They can’t walk. (板书并带读这个新句型) T: Who can help them everyday?

Open your book, and look at the picture. What can you see in the picture? Can the girl walk? No, she can’t. Who can help her? Her father helps her.以同样的方法教学其他的三幅图。教学单词:sit, sit down.

出示小鸟的图,学习单词chick(s),句型These chicks can’t eat. Their mother helps them.

2 Please listen to thee-pen then tell me the answer.学生看图再听录音,完成选词填空。

father , mother, them, girl,

walk, swim, eat, sit down.

(1). This little girl can’t helps her.

(2). This old man can’t .

A young helps him.

(3). These chicks can’t Their mother helps .

(4). This little girl can’t . Her helps her. 教师布置小组讨论。然后请四名学生下来根据小组讨论结果填空。要求学生注意观察发现规律,情态动词can及其否定形式can’t后面都要跟动词原型。主语是第三人称单数时,后面的动词要加“s”或“ es”。

3.chant

Walk, walk, walk

This little girl can’t walk.

Sit down ,sit down, sit down

This old man can’t sit down.

Eat, eat, eat

These chicks can’t eat.

Swim, swim, swim

This little girl can’t swim.

4、再听录音(点读)。学生跟读。

5、Read the text loudly by themselves.然后请4名学生分别领读一段。最后再请两名学生整体读两遍。

Step3 Practice

1出示28页SB Unit 2活动2部分挂图。集体观察第一幅图,图上有什么人?他们在干什么?

然后找学生回答。引导学生说出They can’t walk. Their mothers help them.教师在学生说的同时在黑板板书,然后教师领读一遍,再要求学生观察这组句子跟上面四组句子有什么不同?引导学生能够说出mother后面多了个“ s”, help的后面少了个“ s”。然后教师指出:由于这个句子主语是第三人称的复数,所以后面的动词不能加“ s”。然后以四人小组为单位,仿照黑板上的五组句子,讲述图片的内容。

(2) He can’t eat. A nurse helps him.

(3)He can’t walk. A young girl helps him.

(4) He can’t ride. A little boy helps him.

2 Free talk:

运用句型 I can do...I can’t do 谈一谈自己的能力。

3、通过读单词,了解k, c, g, f, ff, v在单词中的读音/k/ /g/ /f/ /v/。

板书单词(用红色书写字母k和c)kite, music,学生读。然后教师在字母的下面划线,学生总结两字母的读音特点:两字母读音相同,都读/k/。

用同样方法教glasses, frog; fish, giraffe; vegetable, gloves几组词中的发音规律

3学唱歌曲A Good Friend;

Step 4 Summary.

集体朗读黑板上板书内容。

Step 5 Homework.

1、 听第二单元课文录音两遍。熟读课文。

2、Write the new words.

板书设计: Module7 Unit2 They can’t walk. This girl can’t walk.

He can’t sit down. They can’t eat.

She can’t swim.

Words: chick(s), sit ,sit down
