教材分析:

本单元的话题是 “My home”. 家与我们的日常生活密切相关,学生对家的布局都有比较清晰地了解,本课时围绕家展开的疑问句能够询问、猜测物品的位置,并做出相应的回答。如:Where’s …? “Is it/she/he in…? Yes, it/she/he is. / No, it/she/he isn’t.”这些句子也是日常生活中使用频率很高的用语。学生表达英语的愿望会比较强烈,对课堂的活动会更有积极参与的兴趣。

学情分析:

四年级的学生对英语学习已经有了一定的经验并养成了良好的学习习惯,他们对英语学习有强烈的兴趣和求知欲。他们好奇心强,爱说,爱玩,善于模仿,直观形象记忆能力比较强,我们要充分利用这些特点进行精心地课堂设计。在本单元中,学生在第一课时学会了家庭各个房间的名称,初步识记了单词,但是还不是很牢固,需要进一步强化。 教学目标与要求:

1、能听懂会说: “Is it in…? Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. I have a new… Where’s …? 并能在实际情境中运用。

2、通过猜猜看的游戏,使学生巩固练习本课重点学习的语言。

3、了解英语国家家庭住宅的结构及各部分的名称。

4、通过活动、游戏使学生产生学习英语的兴趣,培养他们的合作意识和竞争意识,鼓励学生设想自己未来的家居。

教学重点和难点:

让学生掌握一般疑问句Is it/he/she in the …?及其回答

课前准备:录音机、房间图片、头饰、教学课件

教学步骤:

Step One Warming –up

1.Greetings.

A: Good morning, boys and girls.

B: Good morning, Miss Li.

A: Nice to meet you.

B: Nice to meet you, too.

2.T: I like music ? Do you ? Let’s chant and do! S: Let’s chant.

a.教师播放第一课时Let’s do 录音。全体学生一起做——Go to the living room. Watch TV etc.

当学生说完后教师重复Let’s do中的句子:Have a sleep. T: Where do you have a sleep? \ Which room do you have a sleep?

Ss: In the bedroom.

T: 教师拿出卧室的图片说:bedroom ↗bedroom ↘

T: 让学生猜谜:Guess. I often watch TV here. Where is it? Ss: It’s a … 再依次猜出:I cook the meals here.和I read books and do homework here. Where is it? S: Bathroom/Bedroom/…

3.让学生介绍自己组的房间名称This is my bedroom\living room\kitchen\study.

T: Introduce your own room like this.

S: This is my living room.

(唱一唱歌曲,活跃了气氛,能使学生尽快地融入英语课堂学习的氛围。)

Step Two Presentation

1. Show the students some pictures and revise some words

we have learned. Have a competition. Read the words quickly.

(复习完单词后,将单词卡片贴到教室里的任何位置,同时代表相应的房间。)

T: Look here are some pictures , say the names of them quickly.

S: Bedroom./ Study./…

2. The teacher shows the students the beautiful pictures,

and revise the words we have learned. Then show them the other pictures ,and guess whose home it is . T: This is my beautiful home .Let’s share it .Now I’ll show you some other pictures ,so guess whose home it is.

S: Hui Tailang’s?/….

(学生热情洋溢的投入到活动中来,当看到灰太狼和美羊羊的家的时候,他们更是高兴的不得了,迫不及待的想了解下面的内容。)

3. 多媒体展示图片,根据设计的情景,引导学生帮助灰太狼找到美羊羊。同时展示图片,展示重点句子,Is she in the living room? 引导学生回答问题 Yes, she is ./No ,she isn’t.学习重点句子。

T: Look at here. Now Hui Tailang is looking for Mei Yangyang. So let’s help him.

First look this room, Is she in the kitchen? Guess. S: Yes, she is./ No, she isn’t.

a).Read and learn.(替换其他的位置,练习句子)

b).Read in pairs.

c).Read in groups.

d).Show the students some other pictures , Try to make up new simple dialogues.

(根据美羊羊,我们一起学习关于人称she 的具体的问答方式,学生因为和灰太狼一起寻找美羊羊,所以热情很高,都能积极的投入到我们的学习中来。)

4.教师找一名男同学,让他站到我们课前贴好的某个房间里,同时引导学生问问题:Is he in the kitchen/ bathroom/study/……? 同时给出肯定与否定回答:Yes, he is ./No , he isn’t.

(通过多种方式练习句型,以达到巩固提高的目的。)

T: OK now I can’t find …. Who can help me? Is he in the living room?

S: Yes, he is ./ No , he isn’t.

5.找一名同学到前面向黑板,

A).老师藏笔后

T:Where’s my pen? Is it in the bedroom?

S:No, it isn’t.\Yes, it is.

当生猜到后,(板书)句子Is it in the bedroom? No, it isn’t.\Yes, it is.

B).再找一名同学来猜教师将钢笔放在自己的手里藏在背后,让学生猜一猜。运用句型:Is it in the study?Is it in your hand?Yes,it is.

C).小组活动:找一找,猜一猜Let’s play.

T:Let’s play with your partner. You can put your pencil in your desk \in your pencil-case. Let’s start. S: Join in the activities.

Step Three Drill

1. 教师拿出自己的橡皮展示给学生看,带学生练习I

have …句型。I have an eraser. 在活动中不小心丢失了自己的橡皮,

T:Where is the eraser ?引导学生回答

Is it in the study?

Is it in the living room?

Ss: No ,it isn’t. It’s in the kitchen.

2.Let’ s play a game. Memory game.

T: I’ll give you five seconds to memorize the position of the objections. Then let’s have a competition. T: Is it in the study/……?

S: Yes , it is ./No ,it isn’t.

3.Let’s have a rest. “Where is she?”

T: We’re tired . Let’s have a rest. Play a game.

4.让学生跟读对话录音:

T:Open your books .turn to page 38.

A).Read and translate the conversation in groups. And at the same time find the difficult points , then let’s learn together.

B).Read after the teacher.

C).Listen to the tape and follow.

D).学生小组内分角色练习对话.

E).Act out the dialogue.

Step Four Consolidation and extension

1.给学生讲讲美国住宅结构,教学生认读并了解一些名词garden,basement等。

2.让学生自己阅读文化背景知识。

Step Five Summary

小结:归纳本堂课所学习的知识,并表扬获胜组学生,激励全班学生学习英语的兴趣。

Step Six Homework:

1.将今天所学对话内容讲给家长听。

2.画出你心目中理想的房子,并用英文为每个房间标上名称。
