Step1: Warm-up

1. Greetings

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Miss Chen.

T:Well, boys and girls. Let’s divide our class into four groups : Dog,Panda,Mouse and Monkey.

Ss: We want to be “Dog”.

Ss: We want to be “Panda”.

Ss: We want to be “Mouse”.

Ss: We want to be “Monkey”.

2. Let’s chant.

T: OK! Let’s enjoy a chant . First, listen !

Ss: Listen and repeat.

T: Second , let’s listen and do .

Ss: Say the chant with actions.

Step 2: Reviewing and leading in

T: Wow, the animals can do many things in the zoo . What can you do at school? S1: I can read.

S2: I can write.

S3: I can play…

T: You are helpful. What can you do at home? Who can tell me? Ss: I can eat some food. I can drink …., I can clean the desk… T: Guess. What can I do at home?

Ss: Watch TV, read books…

T: Yes, but I also help my Mom do housework. I am helpful. Look! ... (教师做动作引导学生猜想,然后看卡片,激发学生学习兴趣,学习用英语表达日常生活中我们能做到的力所能及的家务。) Step 3:Presentation

1、Let’s learn

(1)T: I am helpful .I can…. (教师边做扫地动作边说)Look! I can sweep the floor. I’m helpful! 同时板书:I’m helpful! I can sweep the floor.{强调“ee”的发音},然后教师问学生:Can you?

S1: I can sweep the floor. (学生示范动作)

T: You are helpful .,并竖起大拇指。多次重复”helpful”. S2: I can sweep the floor.

S3: I can sweep the floor.

S4: I can sweep the floor.

S5: I can sweep the floor ,too.

T: You are helpful !

(2)T:(教师边做擦桌椅的动作边)I can clean the desk. I can clean the chair.教师指导学生练习:I can clean the ?. 然后拿出“clean the bedroom ”的词卡,说 I can clean the bedroom.教学“clean the bedroom ”.注意bedroom的发音

【bedru:m】板书并拼读。

T: Pay attention to the pronunciation of bedroom”【bedru:m】板书并拼读。 S1: bedroom ,bedroom ,I can clean the bedroom.

T: You are helpful !

S2: I can clean the bedroom.

S3: I can clean the bedroom.

S4: I can clean the bedroom.

S5: I can clean the bedroom.

T: You are helpful !

(3)T: Look at the picture , What can I do? I can water the flowers.( 配合动作)

Group D og: water the flowers.

Well done!

Group Panda: water the flowers

T: You are helpful ! And Group Mouse ?

Group Mouse: water the flowers

Group Monkey: water the flowers

T: Wonderful! You are helpful !

T: Look! What can I do?

I can cook the meals.

Ss: cook the meals

T: This line!

T:(边做动作边说)I can empty the trash. What’s meaning?

Ss:倒垃圾。

T: Look here! I can empty the trash.(图片)

S1: I can empty the trash.

T: You are helpful !

(4)Golden Eyes看图说词组游戏:教师利用多媒体课件展示图片,学生抢答,看谁反应最快,看谁说得最好,同时纠正错误发音。

(5)学生听录音跟读Let’s learn 部分的词汇,同时做出相应动作。

(6)T:指着黑板上的词组提问学生“What can you do?”

Ss:看板书齐答:“I’m helpful! I can ?.然后同桌直接互相操练。 S1: I can empty the trash.

S2: I can empty the trash.

T: You are helpful !

2. Practice

Activity 1: Make a chant

T: Let’s make a chant(课件展示)

Go to the living room, sweep the floor.

Go to the kitchen, cook the meals.

Go to the bedroom, clean the bedroom.

Go to the garden , water the flowers.

Go to the living room, empty the trash.

Ss: Say and do together.

Activity 2 Let’s play (Work in groups)

T: Let’s make

Ss: One student play, the others guess.

Activity3(母亲节,学生能做什么)(练习英语的听、说、演能力) T: You can do much housework. Can you help your mother? Today is Mother’s Day.{可以播放有关母亲的背景音乐}

What would you say to your mom?

Ss: Happy Mother’s Day!

T: Look! I’m the mother.(戴上Mom的头饰)

Ss: Happy Mother’s Day!

T: Thank you! 拉几个学生出来表演说good boys, good girls Are you helpful at home?

T: What can you do? (指着劳动工具说)

S: I can empty the trash.

S: I can water the flowers.

T: Now, do it!

Great! You’re helpful!

Who wants to be the mother? Go home. Groups work.

T: Now, it’s time to play the show! T:OK! Time’s up. Which group want to show? Group Panda? Group D og? Group Panda? And Group Mouse ?

Group Panda, come here, please!

S1: Happy Mother’s Day!

S2: Thank you! What can you do? S1: I can empty the trash. I can clean the bedroom. I can water the flowers. T: Wonderful! You are helpful ! Come back to your seat!
