Teaching contents: Part A Let’s learn Let’s play

Teaching aims:

Grasp the words: family, parents, uncle, aunt, cousin, baby brother.

Enable the students to describe the family with simple sentences. This is my… Difficulties and importance:

Enable the students to grasp these words.

Enable the students to understand the differences between “parent” and “parents”; “uncle” and “aunt”. Use the sentences to describe the family.

Students can pronounce the words correctly.

Teaching aids:

tape-recorder, word cards, pictures of family members.

Teaching procedure:

Warm-up:

1. Enjoy an English song: Come and see my family

2. Greetings:

T: Hello boys and girls.

Ss: Hello…

T: Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

Lead in& task assignment

1. Revise the numbers of 1-10.

2. Play a game ,What’s missing?

3. T: Today, I have a new friend. I’ll go to her home and meet her family. Do you want to go with me?

Ss: Yes.

T: But you’ll have a task in this class. You are supposed to work in groups and introduce your family, Draw finger family and talk about who are they? Presentation

2. sing a song (字母歌)。让学生大声唱字母歌,初步感受字母的发音。 Presentation

a. 让学生正确书写26个字母, 并圈出其中的元音字母。

b. 回顾复习a, i, o, u四个字母的发音。

2. lead in & presentation

a. 把准备好的字母卡发放给学生,然后听老师读单词,拿到字母卡的学生把字母贴在黑板上,组成正确的单词。

b. 老师使用字母卡拼出we, me, he, she等单词,让学生拼读,然后发现e的发音/i:/.再组拼red, pen, leg,…教授e的发音、/e/

c. 老师继续用字母卡在黑板上组拼单词:make, bike, cute, nose等单词,引导学生找出规律。

先让学生自己回顾所学过的字母的发音,然后自己先拼读chant中的单词,再听录音跟读。
