Uint4 I Have a Pen pal

Part A Let’s talk

一、教学背景

六年级学生的注意力比起中低年级时间更持久,但还是会出现注意力不集中的现象,所以为了把他们吸引到课堂上来就需要我们在教学中多采用形象直观的事物来吸引他们的注意力,比如多媒体课件中的动画和图片比较容易激发他们的学习兴趣。在学习方式上,他们还是以视觉型和听觉型两种混合型学习方式的居多,有个别动觉型学习者,在设计教学活动时要充分照顾到大部分学生的学习优势,这样会取得更好的效果。在记忆方面,这个年龄段的学生开始向具体形象思维向抽象逻辑思维发展,但是他们的抽象逻辑思维仍然是直接与感性经验相联系,仍有很大的不自觉性和具体形象性,所以在背诵课文与单词时最好还是提供具体形象的实物、图片等帮助他们理解。从情感方面来看,六年级的学生已经具备了较好的团队合作意识,组能成员能为了共同目标一起努力,同时对于竞争性的活动依然感兴趣。

二、教材分析

本节课是围绕 my pen pal 这一话题对What’s your hobby?进行深入的学习,进一步加入提问他人的What’s his/her hobby?并结合第一课时所学习的动词短语开展语言交际活动。本课设计的大部分动词短语在之前已经出现过,比如watch TV, read newspaper等,在教学中采取以旧带新的方式,引导学生熟练掌握。

三、学情分析

我所任教的班级学生人数不多,女生比男生人数稍多,该班学生对英语很感兴趣,基础较好,尤其是对于表演性的活动参与积极性很高,也有一定的改编能力,因此对话课是他们最喜欢的课型。在学习优势方面,视觉型与听觉型这两种混合型的学生占了多数,动觉型的学习者只有三人,所以在设计教学活动时我把重点放在前者,同时也设计了需要大家表演的活动以此照顾到动觉型学习者的学习优势。

四、教学目标

A.知识目标

1.90%的学生能听、说、读、写句型:What’s your hobby? I like collecting stamps. He likes collecting stamps ,too.

2. 80%的学生能通过对主要句型的操练,观看动画,回答问题,跟读录音,学生能理解对话内容并进行角色扮演表演对话。

3.80%的学生能够运用本课时的主要句型What’s your hobby? I like……询问别人的爱好,并回答的自己的爱好。

B.能力目标

1.70%的学生能掌握动词在like后面发生的变化。能理解和表达有关个人爱好的话题。

2.培养学生在教学活动中熟练运用功能句型的能力,在情境中灵活运用语言交际

的能力。

C.情感目标

1.通过本课时的学习让学生认识到广泛的兴趣爱好对我们掌握课本以外的知识,发展自身特长具有重要的意义。

2.培养学生团队合作的意识。

五、教学重难点

1.教学重点:有关爱好的英语表达和一般现在时的简单用法,主要句型有What’s your hobby? I like…… He likes collecting stamps, too.

2.教学难点:难点是表达爱好时like后面动词加ing的变化。在真实情景中灵活运用What’s your hobby? I like……询问并回答关于爱好的话题。

六、教学过程 Step1:Warm up and revision.

Greetings and talk: T: Hello, boys and girls. How’s everybody doing? Ss: I’m fine ,thank you. And you? T: I’m very well.

T:What do you usually do on the weekend? Ss: I often read books….

T: I often play basketball on the weekend. I like playing basketball. What about you? l. What’s your hobby?

Ss: I like reading books/playing ping-pong….

Step2: Lead in and presentation.

1.听Let’s try部分的听力。

①T: You all have your hobbies. What about Bill and Daniel? Let’s listen to the tape. ②放录音。

③校对答案。

T: Ok,let’s check the answes together.What’s Bill’s hobby? Ss:He likes playing football. T: What’s Daniel’s hobby?Ss: He likes diving.

T:Great, you did a good job!You are so clever.

2.学生之间进行问答练习。

T: Let’s do a pair work. Ask your partner about their hobbies, please.

S1:I like .... What’s your hobby?

S2: I like .... What’s your hobby?

教师转述班内学生的爱好T:Jack likes drawing pictures.He likes playing ping-pong,too.What about Alice’s hobby? She likes reading books and going shopping.板书:She likes 然后指着其他同学让别的同学来介绍他的爱好Ss:He likes...../She likes.....

3.课件播放一些卡通人物的照片,学生利用所学句型介绍他们的爱好.

T:Look at here.We can see many cartoon characters. Who are they? What’s their hobbies? Ss1: He is Conan. He likes playing football. Ss2:This is Ying mu. He likes playing basketball….

4.对话教学

观看Let’s talk的动画提出三个问题,让学生带着问题听录音。

T: Let’s listen to the tape and find out :

①.What’s Wu Yi fan’s hobby?

②.What’s John’s hobby?

③.When are they going?

Ss: Wu Yi fan likes collecting stamps. John likes collecting stamps, too.

Ss: They are going on Sunday.

1)跟读课文。

T:Listen and repeat this dialogue.

2)利用课本Let's talk提供的三个情景模仿课文内容进行对话编排。kite show,bike show, painting show.

T: There are three shows on the weekend. They are kite show, bike show and painting

A: What is your hobby?

B: I like______________________________,

What about you?

A: Me too. There is a _____ show on _____. Let’s go together. B: But where is it ?

A: It’s _____________. And when are we going ?

B: We are going ____________.

A: All right. See you then.

B: See you!

4.Extension

Make a survey

1)利用句型“What’s your hobby?”询问同学的爱好,并写在表格里。

My friend A likes ….B likes …. C likes …

3) Writing.

Write down the survey.

Hello,My name is________.I like_______.My friend_______is a boy/girl.He/She likes_______.My friend_______likes_________.My friend________likes_________. What’s your hobby?

5.Share some famous stars’ hobbies.通过分享名人的爱好,教育学生们培养广泛的兴趣爱好对于提升个人素养,培养能力具有重要的促进作用。

T: Let’s enjoy some pictures. Show the picture of Sun yang , Liu xiang ,Yao ming,

Zhou Jielun, Lang lang …..

T:Stick to your love, do what you want to do.

6.Homework

1.Interview your parents’ hobbies and write it down.(询问父母的爱好并将他们的爱好试着写下来)

2.Make a new dialogue with your partner.
