一 教材分析

本单元主要教学内容是围绕谈论九月开学所学科目展开的,其中be going to 结构贯穿整个单元的始末。单元安排了三段对话、两段课文及若干口头练习帮助学生掌握be going to 结构的陈述句,一般疑问句。特殊疑问句的结构和用法,掌握一些有关讨论未来活动的交际用语。教学可采用设定情境法,学生采用讨论、自由对话的学习方法。

二 语法教学

(1)教师可以通过提问和比较法使学生初步理解be going to 结构的意义,例如:教师问:What are you doing now? 学生回答:We are studying English now。然后,教师指着课程表下午的数学和语文课说:What are you going to do this afternoon? 自己回答:We are going to study Chinese this afternoon .We are gonging to study math also。然后指着课程表下午的音乐课问学生:What are you going to do this afternoon? 学生答:We are going to study music。此时教师可以解释are going to的含义。然后教师再让学生举例I am going to … He \She is going to … 重点强调be going to 结构表达的是将来发生的动作,to 后面是动词原形。

(2)教师可以将going to结构和现在进行时进行比较:

_____I__________________________________I__________________________ Now this afternoon

I am playing football now. I am going to play football this afternoon

主语+be +动词ing 形式 主语+be +going to +动词原形

(3)教师可以把小明一家的假期的活动安排用表格的形式列出,让学生进行问答练习。

三、教学目标:

1. 知识目标:让学生进一步掌握一般将来时态的基本特征,be going to 的形式。掌握新单词:middle

school, study, practice, worry, History, Chemistry,

Physics,学习并会运用句型:Are you going to go to middle school this September?

Yes, I’m really excited.

What are you going to study?

2. 技能目标:

(1)能够根据图片猜测意思、说词语。

(2)能听录音回答问题。

(3)能阅读短文并回答问题。

(4)让学生了解中学要学的新课程。

(5)能运用本节课的主要学习任务进行书信写作。

3. 情感态度:

(1)帮助学生树立学习英语的自信心,培养他们在日常生活中敢说、乐说英语的积极性。

(2)培养在实际情景中运用知识的能力,提高学生的综合语言运用能力。

(3)培养学生自主学习、互助学习、合作学习的能力。

(4)在知识学习的同时,培养学生乐于助人的品质。

4. 学习策略:

引导和启发学生在情境当中感受语言的交际功能,逐步熟练运用所学到的语言。本节课学生的学法一是习得学习,二是任务型学习,三是小组学习,四是自主学习。小组学

习,学生在小组内交流自己的书信和暑假中的打算。自主学习,独立完成书信的写作、读信、寄信活动。

四、教学重点、难点:

1. 运用一般将来时态,谈论旅行前的准备。

2. 运用句型:are you going to go to middle school this September?

Yes, I’m really excited.

What are you going to study?

五、学情分析:

1. 谈论旅行前的准备主要运用一般将来时态,学生已经学过。本节课是对一般将来时态句型的综合应用。

2. 小学已学过用语文、数学、英语等课程。

3. 书信的体例学生已经学过,学生并不陌生。

六、教学准备:

课件:关于中学要学的教材;课件:单词、书信等内容。

七、教学过程:

Step 1. Warmer:

Play a game, the teacher say and the students show.

Chinese, Maths, English, Science, Art, Music.

Now, the teacher show the books, and the students say.

Show the CAI of the words about subjects, let Ss say them as

quickly as possible.

Step 2. Learn the new words:

1. middle school:

Boys and girls, you are in Grade six now. You’re learning

these subjects such as Chinese, Maths, English, Science, Art,

P.E., Music, ect.

You’re going to go to middle school this September.

Learn the word: middle school.

Show the CAI:

Are you going to go to middle school this September?

Yes, I’m really excited.

Let Ss read the sentences. Ask and answer.

2. History, Chemistry, Physics:

You’re going to be middle school students. And you’re going to

learn some new subjects.

They are History, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography. Show

the books.

Learn the words: History, Chemistry, Physics. Show the books

and the cards of the words to learn.

3. practise:

Now, let’s practice. Show the card of the word: practice. The

teacher show and the students say. Show the cards of the

words: History, Chemistry, Physics. Read it one by one.

4. worry:

Just now, we did a practice. But the words is difficult. Some

Sses didn’t remember them. Don’t worry! There is a chant will help you to remember them.

Learn the word: worry.

4. Let’s say the chant:

Let’s say the Chant

Middle school, middle school,

I’m going to go to middle school.

History, History/ Physics, Physics / Chemistry, Chemistry? I’m going to study History/ Physics/ Chemistry ? Let Ss read the chants. And make a chant by oneself. Step 3. Learn the conversation:

You are going to go to middle school this September. And Daming is going to go to middle school, too. let’s learn more about Daming will go to middle school.

1. listen to the tape:

listen and find, underline the sentences with “be going to”. Listen and find

Listen to the tape, and underline the sentences with “be going to ”.

Check the answers.

Show the CAI. Listen again, and answer the questions: Listen and Answer

1. When is Daming going to go to middle school?

2. What new subjects is Daming going to study?

Step 4. Practice:

1. Learn a letter about going to middle school:

Boys and girls, last week, I had a letter from Liu Li. Liu Li is my sister’s daughter. She is 13 years old. She is in Grade six. She is the same as you.

Show the CAI of the letter. Could you read out?

Dear aunt,

How are you? I am really excited. Because I’m going to go to middle school this September. I’m going to be a middle school student. At middle school, I’m going to study Physics,

History, Chemistry? I’m going to make new friends. And I’m going to have new teachers. I miss you very much. Love

Step 5. Write a letter:

Show the CAI. Show the Directing of the writing. Look at the screen.

Write a letter to your friend. Tell him/her what you will do in this summer holiday.

Step 6. Homework:

After school, Read your letter to your family. Then send the letter to your friend.
