Module3 Unit2 What did Daming do?

一、教学目标

知识目标:

1、学习单词:hour, mountain。

2、学习目标语句:What did you do?Where/ When / How did you go?

3、学唱一首歌曲《the London Eye》。

技能目标:能运用What did you do?Where/ When / How did you go?这类语句询问并表达过去发生的事情。

情感目标:培养学生热爱祖国的大好江山品质,培养学生的自信心和合作精神以及用英语进行交流的能力。

二、教学重点

1、能口头运用What did you do?Where/ When / How did you go? 这类语句询问过去发生事情的具体信息。

2、能听说认读单词hour, mountain。

三、教学难点:能用简单的语句描述过去发生的事情。

四、教学准备

PPT课件、单词及词语卡片。

五、教学过程

Step1.Warming up

1、Greeting.

2、Sing a song 《The London Eye》仅(5(5)班放歌曲)

3、复习过去式 (适度拓展短语,教读并讲解意思)

go went went to the park

run ran ran to the bus

come came came back home

send sent sent a postcard

take took took a photo

read read read a book

meet met met a friend

4、复习句子:

What did you /she/he /they do at the weekend? We/I /she/he/they…

Where did you /she/he /they go?We/I /she/he/they went to…

使用下面部分短语和地点引导学生展开问答练习(PPT呈现)

play basketball watch TV take pictures listen to music

do my homework go to the park read books play football

the British Museum Big Ben the London Eye 等等

学生先跟着老师边说边做,然后老师说词,学生做动作。速度由慢到快。(教师评语可用You had a good time)

Step 2: Learn the text

T: Children, at the weekend, Daming and his father also had a good time.

Where did they go?And what did they do? Let’s go and see.

1、播放课文动画视频2遍,总体感知课文。跟读2遍,齐读3遍。

T:Look at the picture.(出示教学挂图)what can you see?

S1:I can see ….

2、T:Look,this is … 引导学生说出the Great Wall . (PPT出示长城课图片)

It’s in Beijing. It’s very long and very old. It’s wonderful.

拓展:让学生自主介绍万里长城,教师进行补充。

万里长城在我国北方辽阔的土地上,东西横亘着一道绵延起伏、气势雄伟、长达十万多里的长墙。这就是被视为世界建筑史上一大奇迹的万里长城。万里长城是我国古代一项伟大的防御工程,它凝聚着我国古代人民的坚强毅力和高度智慧,体现了我国古代工程技术的非凡成就,也显示了中华民族的悠久历史。长城是中国也是世界上修建时间最长、工程量最大的一项古代防御工程。自公元前七八世纪开始,延续不断修筑了2000多年,分布于中国北部和中部的广大土地上,总计长度达50000多千米,被称之为“上下两千多年,纵横十万余里”。如此浩大的工程不仅在中国,就是在世界上,也是绝无仅有的。因而在几百年前就与罗马斗兽场、比萨斜塔等列为中古世界七大奇迹之一

3、 指图片远处的山脉,教学单词“mountain”,教师用PPT图片向学生介绍黄山、泰山、华山等内容。

在我国一般指北岳恒山(位于山西)、西岳华山(位于陕西)、中岳嵩山(位于河南)、东岳泰山(位于山东)和南岳衡山(位于湖南)。

4、T: Now ,Do you know where did Daming and his father go? 板书where did they go? Ss:They went to the Great Wall.

课件呈现问题T:What did they do? 板书

S:They walked for one hour. (讲解”hour” 同音词”our”)

S:They took photos of the mountains. (讲解 took—take)

教师通过相机手机或手势等做出拍照,让学生明白“took photos”就是“took pictures”(拍照)的意思。

听课文录音,回答课本Read and Answer问题,锻炼学生提取信息的能力。

Q1: Who went to the Great Wall?

Q2: When did they go?

Q3: How did they go?

Q4: What did they do?

Q5: What did Daming do?

先听录音读问题,然后全班齐读问题。

先个人找答案,然后请同桌之间互相解答,后师生一起纠正答案。

6、学习课文。

1)Translate the text :找学生翻译

2)讲解课文重难点

For example:

① They went by bus to Badaling.

讲解by bus 意思,并让其做笔记。

② There were lots of people.

Were?为什么不是was?/are?/is?呢

③ They took photos of the mountains.

讲解took photos 和took a photo

3)Find out the past tense of the verb.

除了教师讲解内容涉及到的过去式,还有其他隐藏在文本中的过去式单词吗?要求学生画出文中动词过去式,教师根据学生找的情况全班一起手在空中划写板书过去式。教师板书 (go-----went are—were walk—walked take—took)

6、背诵课文

Step 3 Practise 1. Make a survey:询问你的同桌或周围朋友暑假或国庆节的旅游经历,并完成表格。 Where did you go?

When did you go?

How did you go?

What did you do?

Who did you go with?

2、Listen and repeat.

跟读课文Listen and repeat部分的单词,注重学生发并及时纠错(3遍)。

4、学唱歌曲:The London Eye.

教师用手画圈并唱:The London Eye goes round and round.用手高指着天空唱:high up in the sky.(5(5)班复习歌曲)
