【剖析】classmate意为“同班同学”。类似的合成词还有:deskmate 同桌 playmate 玩伴 roommate 室友 workmate 同事

2. Do you look the same, Su Hai? 苏海,你们看起来一样吗?

【剖析】same 意为“相同的”,前面常与冠词the 连用。例如:

look the same 看起来一样

the same school 同一个学校

same的反义词是different, 不同的。例如:

in different classes 在不同的班级

different schools 不同的学校

3. Are you as tall as your twin sister? 你和你的孪生妹妹一样高吗?

【剖析】as+形容词原级+as 结构,表示两者都一样,是形容词的原级相比。例如: I‘m as tall as my twin brother.我和我的双胞胎哥哥一样高。

当表示“??和??不一样”时,我们可以用句型“not as+形容词原级+as”结构,意为“??不如??”。例如:

I‘m not as tall as you.我和你不一样高。

4. “形容词比较级+than”结构

【剖析】其表示两者比较。例如:

【剖析】whose意为“谁的”,后面直接加名词。

7. I‘ll be the goalkeeper.我将要成为守门员。

【剖析】I‘ll = I will 我将要 be 成为,will后用动词原形。

8. 形容词比较级用法

【剖析】(1)形容词比较级的用法:用于两者的比较。

基本句式的构成:(主格) + be + 形容词比较级 + than + (宾格)

She is taller than me.

表示一样的情况时用原级,结构是:主格 + be + as + 原级 + as + 宾格。

I am as tall as you.

(2)形容词比较级的规则变化如下:构成法原级比较级

单音节词末尾加-er: tall, taller; fast, faster

单音节词如果以-e结尾,只加-r: late, later

重读闭音节词如末尾只有一个辅音字母,需双写这个辅音字母,再加-er: big, bigger; fat, fatter.

以辅音字母加y结尾的单词,变y为i, 再加-er: heavy, heavier; early, earlier.

(3)不规则变化:

原级 比较级

good well better

bad ill worse

many much more

far farther

(4) 双音节和多音节词的比较级应在原级前加more,例如:
