一、教学目标:

1.知识目标

Get the students to learn and grasp the following important useful new words and expressions:

amusing ,energetic ,intelligent ,nervous ,organised ,kind ,patient ,serious ,shy ,strict ,impression ,avoid ,hate ,incorrectly ,completely ,immediately ,appreciate ,admit ,scientific ,literature ,loudly ,wave ,joke ,make sure ,so that ,make progress ,as a result ,in fact ,fall asleep ,tell jokes

2.能力目标

1) Improve the Ss’ ability in reading.

2) Train the Ss to grasp the meaning of the words from the context.

3.情感目标

1) Get the Ss to know what are the good qualities of a teacher.

2)Get the Ss to love their teachers ,cooperate with them,and make a closer relationship.

二、教学重难点

重点The following important useful new words and expressions:

三、教学过程及内容:

Step1:Review these words(Introduction activity1)

a.读两遍

b.词义连线

c.positive or negative

Step2:Use some of the words in activity 1 to describe people you know.

Eg:Mary is energetic and intelligent,but she is a little shy.

Mrs Li is kind and patient,and she avoids making us feel stupid.

Tom is really lively and amusing,but he is not organized.

Step3:Activity 3

Every teacher has his own teaching style.No one is perfect.It’s important for us to do is to listen carefully in class and be modest to ask your teacher questions after class.

Step4:Fast reading(read the text.answer these questions)

1.What is the main idea of the passage ?

The passage introduces three new teachers and the students’ impressions of them.

2.完成exercise 1(1.Mrs.Li,Mr.Wu 2.Mrs.Chen)

3.连线Every paragraph’s main idea.

Para.1. The teacher is a good teacher because she is kind and patient

Para.2.The teacher is strict but she is a good teacher because her teaching is

well-organisd and clear.

Para.3.The teacher is a good teacher because he is good- looking,energetic and

humourous.

Step5:Careful reading

1.Listen to the tape and read it together

Homework:

Write a composition about a teacher you like best ,trying to use as many as new words in the text.

教学反思:通过对于Module2的教学,首先,发现学生的基础能力还存在这较大的问题,特别是在英语口语表达方面还有待提高,学生一般都不敢说出口,怕说错,不敢说,不愿说,是中学生学习英语的一个重要问题,同时也是学英语的大忌;其次,学生对于高中教学的方式还不适应,还没有从初中的被动听课转换到课堂的主动参与上来,与老师互动还不够,配合也不够,不能及时的把问题反馈给老师。因此在今后的教学中,会注意提高学生的积极性,调动学生的课堂参与力,融入课堂,使学生敢于说出口,不怕错,敢于表达自己的想法。
