一、教材的分析与理解:

本单元安排的内容是比较两个事物的特征。从技能目标方面,要求学生能够学会形容词比较级的变化规律及比较级句子结构的用法。结合实际,让学生学会比较和描述两个事物。从情感目标方面让学生了解祖国的河流、山川、城市及名胜古迹等。使学生更加爱自己的祖国。

教学重点:

1、句型:adjective+er+than

2、形容词:long 、high.、old 、big等比较级的运用。 教学难点:能够灵活运用本课的交际用语进行拓展交际。 课前准备:录音机,课件

二、教法的设计与阐述:

在教法上,我课前精心制作了多媒体课件。上课时,我先通过和学生的互动,Do and say.引出了形容词的原级及比较级。再通过一首chant引出了上节课的内容。真正达到了复习旧知、引出新知。在新课的出示前,我创设了一个情境,带学生去游览祖国的大好河山和名胜古迹。然后通过课件依次出现长江和黄河的图片,并教授这两个专有名词的称呼。通过显示两条河流的长度,让学生进行比较,引出句型:The Changjiang River is longer than the Yellow River.再通过各种形式朗读句型。然后用同样的方法依次教授其他几个重点句型。课

文朗读之后,我让学生复习前面的形容词和比较级,齐读,分组读举手读。让学生共同参与,激发学生学习的兴趣,培养他们学习的主动性和积极性。之后又是一个活动练习,练习比较级句型的问和答。最后通过一首小诗,再次活跃课堂气氛,巩固本节课的重点内容。

三、学法指导的设想与步骤:

通过本节课的学习,学生可以掌握形容词的原级及比较级的变化规律,并学会使用比较级句型比较和描述两个事物。与现实生活结合起来,让所学知识在生活中得到具体运用。从学法上,突出了学生的主体。从内容的安排上,从词到句子,循序渐进,“在学中玩,在玩中学。”不但让学生掌握了新知识,还培养了学生的自信,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

②学会并能口头运用Beijing is bigger than Tianjin.

③学习并能识别运用短语:Mount Qomolangma、Mount Tai、The Great Wall、The Summer Palace

2.结合实际,让学生学会比较和描述两个事物。

3.从情感目标方面让学生了解祖国的河流、山川、城市及名胜古迹等。使学生更加爱自己的祖国。

教学重点难点:

1、 学习并能识别运用词组:Mount Qomolangma、The Great Wall、The Summer Palace。

2、 能口头表达及描述两个事物的差异,

掌握句子:Beijing is bigger than Tianjin等句子。 教学方法 :复习法 情景教学法 小组合作

教学设想:

通过本节课的学习,学生可以掌握形容词的原级及比较级的一般变化规律,并学会使用比较级句型比较和描述两个事物。与现实生活结合起来,让所学知识在生活中得到具体运用。从学法上,突出了学生的主体。从内容的安排上,从词到句子,循序渐进,“在学中玩,在玩中学。”不但让学生掌握了新知识,还培养了学生的自信,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

一 Warm-up

Step 1.Warmer

1. Greetings.

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Ms zhou.

T: How are you today?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you?

T: I’m fine, too. Thank you.

T: What day is today?

Ss: Today is Thursday.

T: What day is tomorrow? Ss: Tomorrow is Friday.

3.说出形容词的比较级

4. Chant:

Tall tall taller, Amy’s taller than Lingling.

Old old older, Amy’s older than Lingling.

Short short shorter, Sam’s shorter than Daming.

Young young younger, Sam’s younger than Daming.

5.比较人物的高矮。

Step 2: Presentation

T: Do you like travelling? Today,I’ll take you to visit some

beautiful and famous places. There are four stops in our trip. First, let’s go to No.1 stop: close your eyes please!

No.1 stop: the Changjiang River and the Yellow River

T: Open your eyes. Here we are!

shows the picture of the Changjiang River.

T: What is it?

Ss: the Changjiang River.

shows the picture of the Yellow River.

T: And this is……

Ss: the Yellow River.

T: From the screen we can see the Changjiang River is 6397km, and the Yellow river is 5464km long. Which is longer?

Ss: The Changjiang River is longer than the Yellow River. Read this sentence fluently.

No.2 stop: Mount Qomolangma, Mount Tai

shows the picture of Mount Tai.

T: This is our second stop, look!

Ss:泰山

T: Mount Tai, it is in our Shandong province. Have you ever been there?

Ss: Yes!

CAI shows the picture of Mount Qomolangma.

T: Look, this is a mountain too. Have you ever been there? Ss: No!

T: Do you know what mountain it is? It is the highest mountain in our earth! It’s Mount Qomolangma.

Which is higher, Mount Tai or Mount Qomolangma? Ss: Mount Qomolangma is higher.

T: Yes! Mount Qomolangma is higher than Mount Tai. No.3 Stop: the Great Wall, the Summer Palace

CAI shows the picture of the Great Wall.

T: Do you know this?

Ss: 长城!

T: Yes, it’s the Great Wall! Do you know when it was built? It was built in Qin Dynasty.

shows the picture of the Summer Palace.

Ss: 颐和园!

T: Yes, you are right. It’s the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace was built in Qing Dynasty. Could you please tell me which is older?

Ss: The Great Wall is older than the Summer Palace.

No.4 Stop: Beijing, Tianjin

shows the picture of Beijing.

T: Our last stop is here,guess! What’s it?

Ss: Beijing!

shows the picture of Tianjin.

T: Do you know this city?

Ss: Tianjin.

T: Yes, it’s Tianjin, it’s next to Beijing. Which is bigger? Ss: Beijing is bigger than Tianjin.

Read these sentences fluently.

Text:

T: Ok! Now, listen to the tape, point and say.

T: Please read after me.

Then get students read the text.

复习比较级。然后回答问题。

Step 3. Activity

Dividing the students into four groups. shows the questions. Students in every group should choose a picture and answer the question.

Step 4. Poem

shows the poem, Ss read it. Then T plays the tape, Ss follow to say.

Step 5. Homework

1. Read the text five times.

2. Saying the poem for your parents.
