Step 1 Greeting(2 minutes)

T:Good morning,class. Ss:Good morning,teacher.

T:How are you? Ss:Fine,thank you.

Step 2设疑自探(10 minutes)

T: Very good.Now let’s learn the new lesson Lesson 12.First, turn to Page 67 then

let’s learn the new words.Listen to the tape carefully,

I’ll write the words on the blackboard and then I’ll ask some students to read the

new words.

Encourage the Ss to stand up and read the words by themselves.If all the Ss don't

know how to read, the teacher should tell them.Then let the Ss read after the teacher,

read the words.

Step 3解疑合探(15 minutes)

T:Today we are going to learn the last lesson of this book.This lesson is a story,it is

very interesting.I think you will like it very much.Firstly,please listen to the tape

carefully,after that I’ll ask some students to tell me the difficult sentences of the

story.OK?

Ss:OK.

T:Now I’ll ask some students to tell me the difficult sentences.

S1:I can’t find my Baby Chick. S2:I’m sad. S3:Is it big?

T:Very good.Please guess the meaning of the sentences.If you can’t guess it,please discuss it with your partners.

Several minutes later,I’ll ask some students to tell me the meaning of the

sentences.After that ask the students to read after the tape,

then act it and retell the story with their own words.

Step 3质疑再探(5 minutes)

T:Very good.Now leat’s play a game.Turn to Page 62.Please look at

the pictures and guess the letters of the pictures.If you can’t guess

them,please discuss them with your partners.

Encourge the students to stand up and answer my questions.If they can’t answer them,the teacher should tell them.
