1.Learn the new words “vest bus well zip” and know how to read the Phonetic Symbols. [v] [w] [z] [^] and read them correctly.

2.Know the meaning of the words “ A quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog”

③How are you? I’m fine,thank you.And you?

Teaching process:

Step 1设疑自探(12 minutes)

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Ge.

T:Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

T:How do you do? Ss:How do you do?

T:I’ll write some words on the Bb.Then let the Ss to read the words by themselves.

If all the Ss don't know how to read ,the teacher should tell them.

T:Please think about how to pronounce the letters “v,w,z ” in these

words. If you don’t know, please discuss it with your partners.

After that I’ll ask some one to read it.

S1: [v] [w] [z]

T: Very good. Please read after me these Phonetic Symbols.

T: Very good. Please think about the letter “e” how to pronounce in the words yes and

jet. I’ll ask a student to read it.

S2: [e]

T: Very good. Please read after me the Phonetic Symbol.

Then please think about the letter “i” how to pronounce in the words fox and frog.

If you don’t know, please discuss it with your partners. After that I’ll ask a student

to read it.

T:Very good. Please read after me the Phonetic Symbol.

T:Then please think about the letter “u” how to pronounce in the words fox and frog.

If you don’t know, please discuss it with your partners. After that I’ll ask a student

to read it.

T:Very good. Please read after me the.

Then write all the Phonetic Symbols which you have learned,then read after me.

T: OK, let’s sing a song of “How do you do?”.

Ss: OK.

Then listen the tape and sing that song.

Next, choose some Ss stand up and explain it .

Step 2 解疑合探(15 minutes)

T:Very good. Do you have a computer?

Ss:Yes.

T:OK.Maybe someone have a compter,can you guess what does “keyboard” mean? Ss:We don’t know .

T:Keyboard in Chinese mean“键盘”.Today let’s make a keyboard.Look at the page 57,you can make a keyboard .

Then let the Ss make a keyboard by themselves.Ask some one who do it better to show it.

Next write the words under on the Bb.

T:Can you type these on the keyboard?

Ss:......

T:May be some of you can type them on the computer. Now you can talk about:How to pronounce the world correctly? And what’s the meaning of these words?

A quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog

Encourage the Ss stand up and read the words by themselves.If all the Ss don't know how to read, the teacher should tell them.Then let the Ss read after the teacher, next ask some one to read them, if there is something wrong,the teacher should correct them.Then let the Ss read after the teacher,make sure all the Ss can know and read the words.

Step3 质疑再探(10 minutes)

T: Now, Let’s review what we learn the sentences. I ask you answer.OK? Ss:OK. T: Nice to meet you.

Ss:Nice to meet you,too. T:How do you do Ss:How do you do?

T:How are you? Ss:I’m fine,thank you.And you? T:I’m fine ,too.

Then ask the Ss make a dialogue like this and choose one two

group stand up and act it. If there is something wrong, the teacher

should correct it.

T:Good. About this lesson, what else do you want to ask me?

(If there are some questions, the teacher should ask another student to help the boy or the girl.)

Step4运用拓展(5 minutes)

1.改错。对的打对号,错的打错号。
