Teaching material analysis:

1) Study some words: draw, color, cut, pastes, put on.

2) Sing ?The hello song?.

3) Say hello to Mr Dog, Miss Cat and other animals.

Goal request:

1) They can sing “The hello song”.

2) They can make some animal caps. E.g. cat, dog, pig, fox and so on.

Key difficulty: Master the forms: Hi /Hello and I am …….

Teaching process:

Step 1设疑自探(5 minute)

T: Hi! Class. Now class begins.

Ss: Hi! Hello!

T: Very good. I?ll ask a student to make a dialogue.

Hi! I?m Miss Hu.

S1: Hi! I?m Miss Wang.

T: Very good. I?ll ask a student to act an animal and introduce yourself. E.g. Hi! I?m

Miss Cat.

Step 2解疑合探(15 minute)

T: Let?s learn the song “The hello song” .Listen to the tape and then ask the students

to read it.

S1 :( Act a dog) Hi, Hello! Hi, Hello! I am Tom.

S2 :( Act a pig) Hi, Hello! Hi, Hello! I am Eve.

S3: (Act a fox) Hi, Hello! Hi, Hello! I am Tom.

S4: (Act a cat) Hi, Hello! Hi, Hello! I am Eve.

T: OK. Next let's make a cat head ornaments. First, let?s draw a cat. OK? Ss: OK.

T: Now I think all of you can draw the cat. Let me see who can draw it best?

T: OK. Next is color, then cut it, paste it, paste it, last put it on.

Ask the student to make an ornament again. I may be a dog, pig or fox.

Step 3质疑再探(10 minute)

After teaches to record: Though making the ornameants, the students can read some words of animals. They can use the forms correctly.
