我的小学英语说课稿6A unit1

Good morning, my dear judges. I am_______, from____________. It's my great pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. The content of my lesson is Part A, of unit 1 of Oxford English for primary school, Book 6A. This unit is mainly about public signs. Now, I will be ready to begin this lesson from five parts: Analysis of the teaching material, the teaching methods, the studying methods, the teaching procedure and blackboard design. Firstly, let’s focus on the analysis of the teaching content.

Part 1 Teaching material

The lesson is a new one of Unit 1.This lesson is a dialogue, so it plays an important part in English teaching in this unit. It will be helpful to students' oral English. According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus, after studying the teaching material and analyzing the rule of children's growing of mind, I think the teaching aims are the followings:

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to read, recognize, and use these words: cousin, always, public signs, mean, must, keep off, be quiet, complete, conversation, etc,

And, these sentences: There are a lot of signs here. / They mean different things./Keep off the grass/ Be quiet./ What does it /this/that mean? It means you/we must/should/ shouldn't...

By the end of the lesson, Ss can understand the dialogue and get useful 1

information from it through attentive listening and reading. Ss are also able to talk about something about public signs.They can use knowledge they have learned in this lesson to give suggestions on public signs. What's more, ss? abilities of listening and speaking will be developed.

(Affect; Learning strategies; cultural awareness.)

In this lesson, the emotion object is to help students cultivate and foster their abilities of working in groups and foster Ss? consciousness of good-cooperation and proper competition. Also, it helps Ss to recognize and identify some public signs. Now let's come to the important points and the difficult ponts.

The important points:

Make sure that Ss can use the words correctly and skillfully. Such as: always, a question, ask., mean, must, should, take a walk, pick ,keep off, public signs, etc. And it can develop Ss? interest in English.

The difficult point is:

The pronunciation of cousin, question, mean, grasp, off, conversation, etc.

How to use the important patterns correctly. What does it/this/that mean? It means you/we must/ should/ shouldn't ...

Well, how to achieve the teaching objects better, how to stress the important points and break through the difficult points? As is known to us all, the modern teaching demands that the teacher should improve the students' ability. A good teaching method requires the teacher should have the leading effects. According to the analysis of the teaching material and the students' learning background, I will use the 2

following methods.

Part 2 Teaching methods

I think the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupil?s basic abilities of listening , speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson, I?ll mainly use “ Task- based ” teaching method and Communicative language teaching method. That is to say, I?ll let the Ss learn in real situations to help the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue.

Part 3 Studying methods

Our students are in Grade 6. They are active and curious, interested in new things. After learning English for several years, they have some basic English background knowledge, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using language. Therefore, I'll have the ss study in a relaxed atmosphere. After feeling and understanding the language points, let the ss get the knowledge actively by probe study and cooperative study.

Part 4 Teaching procedure Step 1 Warm-up 1. Greetings. {daily English can stimulate ss' interest in English}

2. Sing together. {The purpose of this is to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss.}

3. Check the public signs ss' collected and talk about them.


For example:

A: What does this sign mean?

B: It means ?No blaring?

A: Can I blare?

B: No, you can?t .You shouldn?t blare the car horn. You should turn off the horn. Step 2 Motivation.

1. Do the crossword: (must, danger, litter)

{ It can facilitate the Ss? abilities to pronounce the words, and help them to remember the spelling of the words.} 2. Make sentences.

E.g. We must be quiet in the library.

We shouldn?t litter the rubbish.

3. Preview the dialogue and underline the important phrases.

1.Listen to the tape ,then answer the questions: What day is it today?

/ Who are in the park?/ What can they see in the park? / What are they talking about?/ How many public signs are they talking about?/ What are they?

{purpose of my design: Enable ss to understand the given material better and get the key points of the dialogue. }

2. Read the dialogue by yourselves, then discuss in groups:

What have you learnt?

{ The activity is to develop Ss? ability of communication, and also, their ability 4

of cooperation will be well developed. }

3. Draw several situations in the park while ss' learning by themselves, then ask ss to put the public sign cards on the blackboard. (Danger! Keep off the grass. Be quiet)

{The purpose of this is to draw the whole Ss? attention to the spelling of the words. }

4. Learn: Look, there are a lot of signs here. They are public signs. They mean different things.

What does this sign mean?

Ask ss to learn: a. You must stay away from the building .

b. We shouldn?t walk on the grass.

c. We shouldn?t make noise here.

3、 Listen to the dialogue and then complete the blank. {Task-based teaching method is used here to develop ss' abilities of cooperation and competition, I think proper competition can arouse the ss' interest in English learning.}

Step 4 Practice and consolidation

1. Listen to the tape and imitate. {Improve the ss' pronunciation of English}

2.Group work: Act out the dialogue. {purpose of two steps: Most ss can take their parts in the activities, especially for the ss who have trouble in English study. In the group activities, they can speak a little English. Without doubt, this will encourage them to speak English.}


3. To be Jack, talk about the signs in the park. {review the important points and sentences in the dialogue and practice ss' spoken English.}

Step 5 Homework:

1、design some public signs in our classroom in English

2、listen to the tape and try to recite the dialogue.

3、finish part C&D

You must stay away from the building.

We shouldn?t walk on the grass.

We shouldn?t make noise here.
