【课题】:牛津小学英语6B Unit5 The seasons (Part A)第一课时

【教材简析】:

本单元主要围绕“季节及气候”这个话题开展各项活动,所涉及到日常交际项目有介绍、询问、建议等,其中以“询问天气”及其应答为重点内容,同时学习一些常用的与气象相关的词汇。 【目标预设】:

1. 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词season、next、weather、summer、autumn、best、spring、winter和句型Which season do you like best? I like?? Why? Because it’s??I can??

2. 能听懂、会说和会读单词cool、windy、countryside、rain、warm、most、because、snowman, sunny, cloudy, rainy和句型What’s the weather like? It’s?

3、朗读课文并理解文中的三会词组:be going to, next week, know about, ask sb. about sth., in spring, in summer, in autumn, in winter, as hot as, what about, the best season, go to farms, in the countryside, pick apples ,most of the time, make snowmen.

4、通过了解纽约城市的气候及环境,拓展学生的文化视野,并能运用本课所学语言谈论气候和季节,并说说自己喜欢的季节。

5.引导学生灵活自如地把所学知识运用到日常生活中去。让学生仔细观察生活,体验生活,触发学生用英语去表达、主动学习的激情。

【重点】:

1.掌握课文中的三会、四会单词和句型。

2.整体理解语篇并熟练朗读课文,并进行课文的复述和阅读拓展。

【难点】:

1. 能流利地复述课文并表演对话,能运用本课所学语言谈论气候和季节,并说说自己喜欢的季节。

2. 理解词组be going to的含义,初步建立一般将来时的语法概念;能辨别rain与rainy的区别;了解most, best为最高级形式;snowman复数: snowmen。

【设计理念】:

1、以学生为本,激发学习热情

英语教学要突出学生主体,而实践证明,当学生对某一知识产生兴趣时,就容易产生与此相关的想象,学习激情活跃,思维创造性也就能得以充分发挥。因此,本节课的设计遵循了“以学生为本”的理念,让活动贯穿于整个英语课堂教学中,激发学生学习热情。

2、创设情境,倡导学习体验

在英语课堂教学中,应努力围绕课题,创设情境,倡导学生的积极参与,让学生在学习过程中不仅能构建知识、提高语言能力,而且通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作探究等活动方式,完成任务和实现目标。

3、关注学习过程,注重阅读策略的渗透

在整个教学过程中,注意对学生学习过程和学习效果的监控和反思,处理好传授知识与培养能力的关系,引导学生质疑、调查、探究,总结,从而促使学生形成良好的学习策略。

【设计思路】:

本课主要围绕“季节和气候”这个话题,设置情境引导学生学习与之相关词汇与句型,在扫除阅读“障碍”以后导入新课,进行阅读教学。以课文中的四个问题为线索,让学生进行任务型学习,既可了解纽约四季的特点又可学习其中的知识点。然后引导学生进行课文朗读,概括与复述,在整体感知课文的基础上进行阅读正迁移。最后设计拓展任务,让学生运用所学,说说自己喜欢的季节。

【教学过程】:

Step1. Enjoy a song: seasons.

(设计意图:通过这首与本课主要内容紧密联系的歌曲给学生一个心理铺垫,并活跃课堂气氛。同时歌曲中出现的关于季节和天气的单词也能帮助学生复习上节课所学的内容,并为下面的自由对话打下伏笔。)

Step2. Free talk

1. T:What’s the weather like today?

今天的天气怎么样?

Teach: weather天气

Show:

Teach the words of the weather.

(设计意图:以自由对话的形式教学有关天气的六个单词,然后让学生两两组合练习一下句型,根据老师呈现的单词随意挑选,只要不矛盾都可以,这样既体验了句型,又降低了难度。)

根据表格中的图片提示练习句型,这样就巩固了刚才学的单词与句型。)

(设计意图:countryside是本课中一个较难的单词,而课堂的前十分钟又是学生注意力最集中学习能力最强的时候,因此我从countryside这个单词入手,让学生先感受乡村美景,再体验城市风光,拓展学生的文化视野,为下文谈论纽约天气做好铺垫。)

3.Teach the preface.

(1)Listen and answer:

(设计意图:在课文前言部分的教学中,我着重训练了学生的听力,并提醒学生运用听的策略,根据我提出的两个问题去捕捉有用的信息,然后试着回答问题。最后再通过关键词来复述本段内容,听说结合,让语言知识和语言技能相互影响,相互促进。)

(设计意图:在学完课文内容的基础上,引导学生进行朗读训练,整体感知课文,

会在四季分别干什么?有的活动可以从课文中找到,有些可以让学生结合自己的生活实际,发挥想象来回答,为课文的复述作下铺垫。)

(设计意图:复述是一种比较有挑战性的口语练习活动,它不是对课文的简单、机械重复,而是创造性地再现已学课文内容。这一训练给学生提供了运用所学语言的机会,有利于加深学生对课文的理解。在这里我设计了根据表格填空复述的任务,目的就是检查学生对本篇课文的理解程度以及对所学语言的运用情况。)

(设计意图:在深入理解课文重点内容后,再次让学生整体感受语篇,形成流畅、完整的记忆,为课后的填空做好充分的准备。)

Autumn is the best season in Kunshan. it’s cool and sunny. Kunshan is very beautiful in autumn.

Winter usually comes in December. It’s very cold in Kunshan. Sometimes it snows, Children like to make snowmen.

Kunshan is a good place to live and a good place to visit.

(设计意图:在作业中我设计了笔头练习的任务,让本课所学句型成为学生写作的语言支撑,联系生活,学以致用,在写作过程中逐步加深对新单词和新句型的理解,加深对语篇文本和结构的把握,提高思维能力和写作能力。)
