Lesson 26

Teaching Aims:

1. Let students master some new words and practise pattern drills.

2. Let students be able to talk about the connected contents of January to April.

3. Keep learning English warmly.

Important and difficult points:

1. Practise the pattern drills and the new words.

2. Practise the activities about January to April.

3. According to practicing language, improve the ability of using language.

Teaching Steps:

Step1. Warming up

引出新课: 电脑呈现一些大家熟悉的人物的照片,教师提问:Do you know them? S: He’s\She’s?.(教师依据每位人物提示相关的语言。)T: Do you know which month?was born?教师依次说出每位人物的出生月份。T: They were born in different months.

Step2. Presentation

由步骤1导入新课的学习:

1. Learn “month”:教师通过提问 How many months are there in a year? 引出“month”一词,然后,请学生回答There are twelve months in a year.

2. Learn “January”

电脑呈现1月日历:T: Which is the first month of the year?

教师引导S: January is the first month of

the year.

电脑呈现January, the first month of the year接着齐读,个别拼读。然后教师板书,强调专有名词首字母大写。

3.电脑呈现与一月份相关的几张图片,教师通过与学生一些问题的问与答,让学生能够说出一月份的相关内容。

T: What can the people do in January? Let’s look at some pictures.(电脑呈现图片)

T: (1) How’s the weather? (2) What festival is in January?

(3) What’s the girl\the boy doing? \What are they doing? 师生交流过程中教师板书相关内容。

T: People can skate, ski? in January, what can we do? (Let 1-2 students say some sentences.为后面做铺垫) (According to the blackboard, say sth about January)

4. Learn “February” 电脑呈现2月日历:

T: Which month is the second month of the year? 教师引导 S: February is the second month of the year.

电脑呈现February, the second month of the year接着齐读,个别拼读。然后教师板书,强调专有名词首字母大写。此时,1,2月份单词作比较,找相同点,加深记忆。

T: How’s the weather in February?

S: ?.(教师板书)

5.T: In February, winter holiday comes, we can do many things to spend it.

(1)学生如何过寒假(包括打球,看电视,玩电脑,读书,做作业),电脑呈现Happy Winter Holiday字样和相关的图片,让学生2人一组讨论后来说。

T: According to the pictures, let’s think what you often do during winter holiday.

S: ?.

T: In China, Spring Festival often comes in February, sometimes in January.

(2)人们如何庆祝春节。电脑呈现人们庆祝春节的图片(包括放烟花,包饺子,聚餐,购物,做扫除)及对应的英文词组,还有How to celebrate the Spring Festival?字样,然后教师提问:What festival? What can the people do during the Spring Festival? 学生回答后,带领学生学习。(教师板书)

教师说明春节有时候在一月份。

(According to the blackboard, say sth about February)

6.Learn “March” 电脑呈现3月日历:

T: Which month is coming after February?

S: March is ?.

电脑呈现 March, the third month of the year 教师板书, 学生此时已能说出专有名词首字母要大写。

7.T: What festival in March?

S: Tree Planting Day.(电脑呈现)

T: When is Tree Planting Day?

S: March 12

T: March is a good month, it means spring is coming, everything begins to grow.

T:How’s the weather in March?

S: A little warm.(教师板书)

T: It’s warm in March, we can do many things.(电脑呈现图片:赏花,拍照,踏青,植树?)

T: What can we do?

S: ?.(教师板书)

接着引出Women’s Day: T: Do you know what important festival is also in March? When is Women’s Day? (电脑呈现)进而,教师接着提问:What should we do for your mother? 引导学生说:give the presents to my mother, help my mother do some housework, make a cup of tea for my mother?,

(According to the blackboard, say sth about March)

8.Learn “April” 电脑呈现4月日历:

T: Which month is coming after March?

S: April is ?.

电脑呈现 April, the fourth month of the year 教师板书, 此时,学生完全可以自己说出词句。

9.T: There’s a foreign festival in April,what’s it? S: Easter.(电脑出示)(教师板书)

T: When is it?

S: A Sunday from March 20 to April 20.(电脑出示) T:what are these?

S: Colorful Easter eggs.

T: On Easter, people celebrate Easter, children often get many Easter eggs. (教师板书)

T: There’s also a Chinese festival in April, do you know? It’s Qing Ming Festival. (电脑出示)

T:When is it? It’s on April 5.Now we have a day off. (电脑出示)

T: How’s the weather in April?

S: Warm and windy.(教师板书)

T: April is a warm month, what can we do in it?电脑呈现图片:放风筝,赏花,踏青,扫墓?)

S: ?. (教师板书)

(According to the blackboard, say sth about April)

Step3.Practice

1. Let students do some exercises: discuss—write—say 读句子,用方框里的词或词组填空:

1. The weather is warm and windy, we can go to the park to____.

2. Children likes______ in winter.

3. ______often comes in January or February.

4. Easter is always on a____, children often get colourful_____.

5. People have a day off on____.

6. People usually _____ before the Spring Festival.

7. It’s___ in January, we can______.

11. Students have their_____ in February.

2. Let students choose a month that they like best to talk.

3. After talking, let students write on a paper.

在学生写之前,教师给出范例在电脑上:

I like February best. In February, it’s cold and sometimes it’s snowy. I like snow. I often go skiing with my son. The Spring Festival often comes in this month, we have a big dinner, get together, visit friends, light firework. We fell very happy. We spend winter holiday in February, I can play badminton, swim, go shopping, read books. I can also stay at home to enjoy my holiday.

(3).如果有时间,展示学生所写。

Homework:

1. Practise the pattern drills and the new words.

2. Practise the activities about January to April.

3. Go on writing the short passage.
